Yes ... because it has a longer wheel base and a 5’ bed, but it still has off-road capabilities closer to the Wrangler than any other truck AND it can two more than the Wrangler (and any other kid size truck).
There are always trade offs but there CAN be setups that maximize both.
BUT Wrangler...
The JT Gladiator with the Rubicon package tows 7,000lbs. A sport JT with the max tow package tows 7,650lbs.
Point is not to claim the jeeps are better than a Bronco, but just that you CAN have a legitimate off-road package AND tow more than a riding mower.

This ? is my only worry about the frameless doors on the bronco. The only way to store them will require the bags (assuming the door bags are standard and not an optional buy) and a lot of space to stack them OR a specialized hanger (using the door pins).
The framed Jeep doors might be a tad...
We have a 2020 Jeep JT Gladiator Rubicon (traded my Ram 1500) - LOVE IT. Favorite truck (6th) ever. Period.
My first truck was a used ‘89 Ford Ranger longbed. In highschool. My dad had a brand new (82-84) F-150 extend cab (split rear window) when I was a kid.
Also have a 2017 Challenger 392...
They piut vents in the gladiator. I could maybe see them skippingit in the 2door but the larger cabin volume on the 4-door really should require rear vents.

Could be camouflage hiding something they don’t want seen yet? Or maybe parking sensors (although the forward sensing stuff is only in the high or lux package apparently) .... but the collision and adaptable cruise stuff I’d still wager is up top in the windshield. ?♂️
Oh! Duh ..... maybe...
Not to beat a dead horse ..... but the oval is circling the review mirror stalk. To the right of that seems to be a plastic housing that corresponds to those flat black squares on the other side of the windshield. I outlined the housing ....
The non JL/JT Jeeps weren’t designed with as...
If you look at the windshields from the press cars making the rounds on YouTube (the yellow 2-door and Cactus Grey 4-door) you see a large black area in front of the overhead console/rear view mirror ... that look VERY similar to the sensor package on the JT Rubicon I have. It makes WAY more...
If you look at the f150 it’s $995 to go from the 2.3L to the 2.7L and if you look at the mustang it’s like $1600~ to get the 10spd auto over the manual.
Just guessing but the $6,780 difference between badlands and Wildtrak might be a little low for all the upgrades (Engine, trans, hard top and...
On all the pre production test vehicles >>maybe<< - but if it is really down in the bumper, then Ford is creating a massive headache for themselves because the instant the bumper is removed and an aftermarket bumper is installed (unless aftermarket bumpers won’t be a thing) the safety system is...
I’d be really surprised if the sensor is located in the bumper (first aftermarket bumper ruins your safety tech?)- the Gladiator/Wrangler puts it in the rear view mirror assembly so it works even with the windshield folded down. ?♂️

Also keep in mind the SYNC4 is going to include Android Auto and Apple Car play across all trims (there is a thread on this) .... so unless the big screen is just something you have to have you should be able to get all the functionality you need with one of the car play setups - relative the...
We’ve been using them on airplanes just fine for decades .... there are big advantages on a fleet scale that humans left alone just can’t achieve.
If anything with an OBDII reader figuring out and fixing (modularity vs repair) is easier now than when everything was analog. Cheaper...
Not necessarily- I based this off the “$6,780” difference between the Badlands and the Wildtrak. If you add that $6,780 you are potentially getting not only the Sasquatch package but also the 2.7L engine, an Automatic transmission AND a hard top (none of those are standard on the Base Badlands...
I would like it - but I’m not sure I want to pay for all the other stuff on top of a higher base JUST to get that one feature.
The Badlands is also the only trim that offers it - it would have been nice to see that included in the Sasquatch package but it isn’t.
