The manual transmission for the 2.3 is designed by a German company who is now owned by a Canadian company. It does not make sense for fords to offer a manual transmission for the 2.7 unless they offered it on other vehicles without a crawl gear.

You won't be getting a manual 2.7 more than likely ever.

Hello from Vancouver! Currently have a Black Diamond reserved but may go badlands depending on the cost of options and how badly I would wanted the electric disconnect.

We have a lot more consumer protection laws compared to the states. I wouldn't expect to see a lot of dealers doing mark-ups on brand new vehicles from the factory.
