  1. Have VIN # now. How long until build date?

If you just got your VIN, your worst case is 5/2 since that was the last week of this scheduling cycle. But don't worry, it'll move a few times. You'll get an email and show up on the tracker about a month before your build.
  2. How to tell who's the bigger dealer for ordering?

Spend some time reading through the build week threads (or see ocbucks1 thread which links to build week spreadsheets). Find someone near you who got their VIN in a fairly short time frame. Ask if they'll share their dealer info (if you can't guess it from their info).
  3. I changed my options when I placed my order with the dealer - website still shows my original configuration

This is normal. As others have said, ask your dealer to email you a copy of your order from Ford's system. You want it as it has info you'll need for tracking your build status when you get to that point.
  4. No VIN Yet, but cannot change items (engine in this case).

Isn't the engine type code into the VIN? So if Ford changes the engine, your VIN will change too. Not sure that'll happen. Edit: just confirmed. The eighth character in your VIN is engine type. H is 2.3, P is 2.7.
  5. I have a VIN but no schedule info, what sort of limbo is this?

About a month before your build week you'll get an email and the trackers will kick in for you. If your build week keeps moving and you don't reach the point where you're a month away, you'll stay in the limbo stage you're in. BTW - I'm there too so you're not alone. People with January build...
  6. Does changing order slow the process

I dropped PPF and got a VIN during the next scheduling, so the idea that changes send you to the back-of-the-line doesn't make sense. If you keep your constraints you'll continue to get passed over until they can cover your whole build. Look for the post that shows demand versus % available for...
  7. 🛠 4/11/22 Build Week Group

I'm here too...for the time being. Just started my bump series so I haven't received an email or shown up on the tracker yet. 3/21 to 4/4 to 4/11.
  8. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Just called and found out I moved to 4/11. From 3/21 --> 4/4 --> 4/11 now. Guess I have a few more coming.
  9. Looks like I'm built. Question on terminology.

I remember reading the mod shop handles roof racks, safari bars, and graphics. PPF is installed at a body shop.
  10. Bronco 2.7L as an ONLY vehicle

Bronco won't be my only vehicle, but will likely be my most practical one.
  11. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

English is not that precise. If a university invited "all students and graduates" to an event, does that mean only students who graduated can attend? So active students can't attend. Neither can someone who was awarded an honorary degree. Agree, you can read it either way. Anyone who didn't...
  12. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

Did Ford come out and say you had to order before 3/19/2021? The March 25th email stated: "Offering price protection to all current Bronco order and reservation holders (as of March 19, 2021). This will ensure you will not see an increase in the MSRP if you receive an equivalent 2022 model year...
  13. ⏱ No Bronco Scheduling Next Week (2/14)

They've already filled most of April with all the build week shuffling. Deliveries are pushed out into May. Doesn't make much sense even if it was a typical scheduling week.
  14. How Much Fuel When You Picked Up Your Bronco?

May ask them to skip the fill to start break in with 93. They can keep the gas...and the front license plate bracket 😀.
  15. Jeep introduces 2022 Wrangler High Tide Edition with Xtreme Recon package

No. Limited to 4 door models. Also not available on all models. Only top end 😀. Very true that competition benefits consumers!
  16. Tips to find a good service dealer.

If you can get in within a week or so and get your car back the same day, that's great.
  17. Tips to find a good service dealer.

I'd assume most of them offer basic Ford service. If you are planning any mods, you may want to call the other eight and see if they'd entertain installing the mods you're interested in. That may be too your advantage. I've seen a few dealers that do this. If no plans for mods, call around to...
  18. Hello from Texas

Hi from Dallas and welcome! When it warms up a bit, you should definitely make the trip down to Austin and do an Off Roadeo. They'll show you all the cool features of the Bronco with you in the driver's seat. Fun and exciting day. It's good to have a dealer you know. There are a few steps in...
  19. Microchip hold until May 25 for my Bronco

Read through the build week threads. It's happening to almost everyone (+3 months on the edd) due to chips. Plus future build weeks in Feb and Mar got pushed back two weeks. So April is half full (presumably due to Plant shutdown).
