Where did you put your heat exchanger? And did you have to shorten your lines to it/cut off the brackets on one side? And you do not have shutters for your OEM cooler, correct? I am stuck with the motor/shutters and associated wires that I imagine would throw a code if I messed with them. I am...
I'm split between the JCR and the Rock Hard...it costs more, but no need to relocate the ACC bracket. Another bonus is that it has enough space on each side to run triple lights...and because I already am running two 3x3 cubes and four rectangular pods that is appealing. I could then just sell...
I am leaning in that direction as well...did you also order the ACC relocation bracket and the camera relocation bracket? And shipping is 450, correct? Which winch will you use?
Mishimoto makes awesome stuff but they themselves agreed that by moving the intercooler up above the bumper then it places it squarely in front of the radiator and so you lose some efficiency that way as well...I wanted to keep my Bronco for a while so I bought an extended warranty, but I...
The intercooler doesn't move but you have to cut off the forward-facing frame horns next to the heat exchanger for the transmission and then relocate that and shorten the lines that lead to that and then that ends up blocking the shutter gates for those of us who have them...sigh...
I was going to go for a Badland winch but the guy from JCR explained that for 100 bucks more he'd go all day long with the Warn 10,000 pound Evo VR 10S...something about the 10k one having better spool speed and being more reliable in the long run. I'd settle for either the BL or the...
I bought 2 SS3 Max fogs and 4 SS2 pros...and they all fit like a glove in the modular bumper pockets. Too late to send them back, and I am sure I could make them work with something else. With the Vanguard I'd need the ACC relocation bracket and the camera relocation bracket, and probably an ACC...
I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to install that plate...I imagine Ford would have issues with anything even remotely related to warranty if anyone overheats or has issues with the cruise control or early collision system with the ACC unit relocated and/or proximity sensors moved. The...
Thanks! Just trying to figure out if I want the hoops to jump through. Does the Vanguard setup reduce the overall opening size of the OEM Modular bumper?
Thanks again! That makes it much more clear... from their pictures it is tough to get an idea of exactly how much of that unit is blocked. Before you relocated yours, did it just not work at all or was it hit or miss?
Thanks! I called them today and they swear that it works without relocating the ACC...do you know if there is an early iteration of the plate in which it didn't work and then a later iteration that it did? I know they just want to sell their product so I take the feedback from my fellow forum...
Hi folks! I am about to pull the trigger on the JCR winch plate, because it seems to tick more boxes than the Ford Performance one. Most importantly for me, because I have the lux, package Badlands, I want to be able to use my adaptive cruise and my 360 camera and not have any stupid chimes or...
It is a bit more involved If you have the Badlands with the motor driven louvers that open and close...the relocated heat exchanger sits in the way of those louvers opening or closing. It is also tough to get to the winch to make any adjustments/turn a selector. Pretty cramped install and I am...
On the price increase alone it appears as though sticking with what you already have makes the most sense because for even the difference in price of simply buying the newer one you could have bought the wheels you really wanted and then simply bought somebody's take off Sasquatch suspension at...
Something else to consider...the stupid increases and switching out of the packages. The way I ordered my Badlands back during the first wave came out to just under 55. Now, for the exact same build (because the modular bumper is now an add-on), The price jumped to 64. So unless the dealer...
It seems like, at least at the dealer near me, the ADM days are over. There are still the stupid "security" and "surface protection" features (at 1000 bucks a pop), but no redonkculous crazytown 5k-20k rapings of yore. Here are a few pics of a BD and a Lightning...
The same dealer had marked...
That's why I love the Azdome setup...it fits the right beneath the mirror mounting point and from the driver seat you wouldn't even know it was there. It's also on the smallish side so your car doesn't end up looking like one of those movie film crew trucks that has a million different cameras...
Also loads of SAS suspension take-offs available...easy to swap them over at a fraction of the SAS cost. SAS wheels are also plentiful, but having gotten rid of mine quickly I don't recommend them. They're heavy for what they are, many owners report that when they tried to pull out the bolts for...
