Could you ask for verification on the Manual transmission design/production? Is it designed and produced in the same location and team that did the MT-82? If so, what specific lessons have been learned and adjustments made for this one?
I suppose I am... whelmed. There's a lot of unused space in the footwell. Seems like half-assed engineering, but I'm not the one that had to design it.
Kinda blows my mind that Ford would go through the same factory and design team for this transmission after the MT-82 issues were already known. The thing had issues for 8 years, and they revised the design (which didn't completely fix it), before they started work on this one.
Definitely...
Because they're both so muted and variable. "One of the slightly color-tinted grays", IMO. Sometimes A51 looks like a great light blue. Other times, just gray. CG, the same with green.
Jalopnik did a deep comparison using these photos at launch. Done by a engineer, and enthusiast, that worked on the JL before becoming a full time writer.

AMD is the alternative to Intel CPUs and nVidia GPUs. Usually at a lower pricepoint compared to competitors but, arguably, slightly lower performance.
Not sure how that applies here though ;)
I had the same experience in 2002 (USMC). 4 wisdom teeth, and not enough Novocain, but they sent me back to the barracks that day (with 24hrs light duty).
It's true. Ford clearly wasn't ready to Reveal the Bronco. Even back in March, when it was first planned. They're doing their best to fill a full year with stuff that should take 3 months because they decided to "Launch" with unfinished concepts.
It may be how you, and even I, interpreted it; but that doesn't mean "literally anyone" would, or did. On that note, did you literally fall off your rocker due to this discussion?
I think the problem here is that the "launch" was more of another concept reveal. They weren't ready but felt like they needed to get something out there. Now they've had to finalize production details before actually launching.
