Are multiple people really using the word thermostat when they mean auto climate control? Iāve only seen one, but he does really like the term and uses it frequently.
For his edification, when talking automobiles, this is a thermostat:
That is the other side of coin - C&Dās ratings have nothing to do with reliability. But yes, not a great showing. F-150 is typically near the head of itsā pack, even though overtaken by Ram for top spot nowadays.
Latest Consumer Reports data shows both Ram and Jeep as higher reliability than Ford. Ford has always been a mid to low in reliability surveys - certainly nothing to brag about.
They just increased its base price by $1,595. Kinda seemed like that was already baked in there considering itsā price relative to the 2 dr. But at any rate, it seems to be in there now.
Thatās not true, Ford was actually going to pay you to take the automatic. The $1,495 Mid package āincludedā the $1,595 auto transmission. So Ford was paying you $100 to take the Auto Transmission with Mid Pkg. None of this was hard to figure out, regardless of what ārepsā at auto shows...
Except that at one point they changed their mind and said 4dr Base will come standard with Manual. Then they changed their mind again when B&P came out and showed auto was indeed standard. Then they said āwhoopsā, letās jack another $1,595 in there. Then...
It appears itās the $1,595 Auto transmission that they made standard on the 4dr.
That pricing gap has been there since launch. The chances of that going away are slim to none. Same as $5k on 2dr BB for $1,500 of equipment (and priced at that amount on Canadian web site). There are pressure...
The new tow guide is interesting. The spec section of the Bronco site has also changed slightly to say āup toā 3,500 pounds. Maybe Ford has changed from what they were saying earlier - that wouldnāt be too surprising.
The Base canāt be equipped with the tow package so that is going to be a...
If there was a change in the suspension with the tow package, the tow rating would different - itās not, itās the same. One would also reasonably expect Ford to say HD rear suspension in the tow package description - they donāt. The contents of the tow package have also been confirmed in at...
There is no difference in tow rating (3,500 pounds) between Broncos with or without tow package. The tow package does not make any changes to the suspension.
This keeps getting brought up. There is no such thing as a 64 1/2 Mustang. The earliest Mustang title says 1965. So calling the new Bronco a 2022 (if itās produced before Sept of 2021) would make the Bronco more like the Mustang introduction in April of 1964. Early 1965 Mustangs had some...
If you end up trading or selling it in the next few years itās value is going to feel a lot less special vs a 2022 that was made a few months later. If you really hold for 20 years then no harm.
The actual allocation is on converted reservations which isnāt known until Jan 31. According to the last bullet, Ford is going to communicate an estimated allocation to dealers so they can provide some kind of guidance as to where you may fall in delivery order (clearly itās not a guarante). I...
Not sure why you thought that opinion was something I didnāt want to listen too. I donāt have any issue that some people arenāt concerned with the change.
You donāt think the change Ford made in the FAQ (after they changed how Broncos are produced) reflects the change in how they produce. Understood, you may be right.
If so, shame on them for changing how it works (and communicating to the dealers), then changing the consumer Q&A on how it works...
Not true. The post always referred to the allocation change - it was the point of the post. The actual dealer memo and the sections that say āEditsā were added later.
