  1. šŸ’° Official: $2500 Order Modification Offer to Wildtrak Customers (switch trims) and Non-Wildtrak Customers (modify order to remove constraints)

The Heritage model was always a ā€œlate availabilityā€œ vehicle and I was warned during reorder in September, way before all of this bad news, that I would likely not see it this year so I chose to stick with what I had ordered. The example that was given was that most Everglades buyers had to wait...

I hear ya. I also chased the mod top fantasy and 99’d for two years and now being asked to drop the one thing off my order that pushed me to select the Outer Banks trim. Without the Lux package option, what am I paying extra for - Cloth seats and same colored fender flares? Not sure it’s worth...
  3. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Thanks for the interpretation, unfortunately I think itā€˜s spot on. It aligns with the fact that only certain dealers were provided that presentation and with Ashlie’s statement that we have to drop those constraints ā€œfor scheduling consideration.ā€œ Regarding the 2-door tops, Chapman responded...

Sorry to hear. Might be worth delaying the cancellation until Ford sends official word next week?
  5. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Well, I’m sure that’s true but for those with orders at Chapman, Granger, etc. the goal is/was to not only not pay ADM or MSRP but to get the best price possible and still get what we wanted. Unfortunately, that seems less likely each week through no fault of our own other than believing that...

They can and looks like they will…
  7. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

My take on all this is that whether you agree or not, Chapman has interpreted Fordā€˜s presentation to mean that Ford will prioritize and build orders that don’t specify SAS, Lux, and hard tops and most orders that have them will be pushed further out and, very likely, not be built in ā€˜23. Based...
  8. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Actually, this is getting confirmed by others so it’s Ford that should be ashamed.
  9. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

I asked the same question the other day. Fly by Nite answered that, in September, the 2 door was at 19% constraint against 28% Orders
  10. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Exactly. That would effectIvey cancel the 2 door model. I’m thinking the hard top would apply to the 4 door model only. Am following up now.
  11. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Yep, I got the same message. Regarding the hardtop I’m reading it as applying to the 4 door. Otherwise it would mean they are canceling the 2 door completely and I find that hard to believe.
  12. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Thanks for posting, looks like the constraints issue is getting a little better. Any idea what the problem is with filling 2 door orders? Is Ford just maximizing profit building the 4 doors? Would be helpful knowing the take rate on the 2 door, hopefully we can get that info someday.
  13. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Nope. I reached out and they said they had several orders being previewed but mine was not one of them. šŸ˜•
  14. Outer Banks with or without Sasquatch?

This question comes up often and all the SAS owners will say go with the SAS. Personally I don’t want 35ā€ tires and won’t be off-road as much as others but I’ll likely put 33’s on mine in the future if/when I change the wheels. Unless you just have to be on 35s or want a cloth interior, I’d...
  15. 50,000 mile Review - Why the Bronco Sucks

Fair enough. There are plenty of men that buy expensive autos, guitars, watches, etc. to look like they live a different life. The unfortunate truth is that the guy with the soft office hands is usually the guy that can actually afford these things. It’s upside down . But to your point, maybe a...
  16. 50,000 mile Review - Why the Bronco Sucks

It seems you’ve got this completely backwards. Truthfully, the off-roading community needs as many Broncos out there as possible. Even though there are plenty of people that enjoy hitting the trails, it’s really more of a niche thing and I seriously doubt Ford even gets back into the game if...
  17. Things I wish I knew before going to a Bronco Off-Roadeo - add yours

Just in case anyone thinks ā€letting her ripā€œ during their Off-rodeo is a good idea let me add that, after our trail guide complimented our group at the end of the day, we asked our guide if he’d ever had anyone that caused him heartburn thinking that it might have been a newbie. Instead, he said...
  18. Things I wish I knew before going to a Bronco Off-Roadeo - add yours

We went to Moab in May and, being peak season, weather-wise, hotels were outrageously expensive. We stayed at Red Moon lodge, a B&B on the other side of Moab, for half the price of the other options. Each room had its own separate entrance and the owner makes homemade breads and granola and...
  19. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

I see this as Chapman being clear that their offer is based only on the current MSRP to avoid confusion. Price protection is still in play just not calculated with their offer. Ford customer service confirmed to me that $400 of level 1 PP is available. The amount of level 2 PP is based on a...
