Well, this is good news. Letās hope the remainder gets a build date in the next few weeks. Thought I heard Tim say in his podcast that Ford only has 3,900 2-doors remaining to be scheduled. Maybe they get us all next week!
I debated the OBX and the BB and decided on the OBX with an added rear locker b/c of the 4A, better interior - I think itās the best interior of all the trims and has a nice brown leather option, signature lighting, and available 12ā screen on the high/Lux packages. I also like the painted...
It was mentioned earlier in the thread that anything not invoiced will be subject to the price increase on paper that can be corrected by your dealer. So any changes are going to show immediately. However, only certain changes, based on the body code seem to incur the permanent increase and...
I hear ya. Not sure how long youāve been in Fordās scheduling purgatory but youāve made it this far, might as well see it through. It seems like theyāre delaying the scheduling to force more people to drop constraints. Not cool but itās what Iāve come to expect from Ford at this point...
Since the current crop of private offer certificates expire in April, Iām wondering if Ford will re-issue them with higher amounts to cover this price increase? Wasnāt the goal of these to get people their Bronco at the price the reserved at? Pie in the sky, probably but a nice thought nonetheless.
OBX comes with the plastic bumper, which looks similar to the capable. They can get a take off from someone else and install it, which is what Iām doing, but it requires cutting off the metal hooks or replacing the brackets that hold the intercooler with ones that donāt have the hooks, about $160.
Iāve got a OBX non-SAS on order and planning to go to a 33ā tire, add a steel bumpers front and back, at least partial skid plates, and possibly a roof rank and tent. I dont have any plans to go to a 35ā or larger tire anytime soon or ever, thatās why I didnāt go for SAS, and it seems that a 2ā...
Nothing for me either even though Iām in the top 6. Iām not surprised since Chapman said that they had no orders previewed as of Tuesday afternoon. Could be that Ford is looking past Chapman since they gave them over 30 allocations over the last two weeks. Anybody know if any Granger orders...
Yes, thatās correct. The Heritage limited comes in Yellowstone metallic and Robins egg blue with a heritage brown leather interior and limited to 1966 vehicles total. The standard HE comes in 3 shades of gray, black, and red with a blue interior.
Sorry to hear about the problems with your Bronco, thatās frustrating. Im waiting to get mine and will be leaving a 15 year old Mazda that has been very reliable. The Bronco will be my first American car since 1993. I left American autos behind after an ā89 Chevy S10 that was a total pos. You...
