That's a rather puny front-mount intercooler and not helped by blockage from that "mysterious" flat screen sensor slapped right in the middle of it. Easy to predict that FMIC upgrades will be a prime way to preserve power (reduce heat-soak) and generally make a boosted engine happier.
That photo of the 2.7 V6 literally crammed in between the front struts, occupying 90% of the available engine bay under the hood should provide the answer to all those calling for putting a bigger V-8 engine in the Bronco. It already looks like 10 pounds in a 5 lb bag.
Has anyone got the "official" Ordering Guide for the 2021 Bronco? I know there are threads with tons of hacked info regarding Trims & Options. My question arises from an alternative choice that I'm contemplating for my next rig. I may get the 2021 F-150 pickup instead. On that sister forum...
OK... read all 28 pages. I was late to the "party" but man, some heads must have rolled in Ford!
Only a couple of times did I see a post asking about that near white/gray marine vinyl interior. Looks like nobody found that look in the configurator options. Everything that I saw for the BD or...
You know, I didn't think to ask it since that's not applicable to my situation. Based on how concise the response I got was... would be surprised if you could not do so. Just can't go the other way.
Encourage you to call that number in post #1 if you need more assurance.
Wish it was based on seasonal-like weather.
Springtime conditions in San Diego begin this November and run through next June
I'd love to get my Bronco before December 2020. lol
So my dealer Internet sales mgr emailed a phone number to call regarding questions on Bronco Reservations (800) 392-3673 Ford Customer Relationship Center. The voice-menu options 1-4 don't seem to give a proper choice but if you press "0" it goes into queue for a real person. Wait time wasn't...
Take some solace knowing you can get the Cactus gray and hard top in "some color" and pay 3rd party to get it painted inside & out. I know that's a crappy and probably $1,500 ish solution but it can be done - push comes to shove!
The salvation will be if Ford will allow an order with vehicle...
For what it's worth... even that near white (very light gray) interior is in doubt as being a real available choice. It may well be the standard "marine vinyl" interior but the jury's still out about it.
And if that is actually the stock marine vinyl, I sure hope they allow the roof interior...
This thread is getting long.... didn't read every page. May already been discussed/griped about.
This large charge for "Destination and Delivery" seems like twice what some car companies charge
What sucks is Ford took lazy approach and put the same Curb Wt. data (ranges) in all the Trims. So you cannot easily determine say how much the Badlands adds over BD with 2-door manual. That would be useful to know.
Love it! Further reinforcing my decision (or inclination) to go with 2-Dr Badlands for the MT/Crawler gear. At least the Badlands comes equipped with upgraded/taller suspension and 33" tires.
