Any dealers out there that can explain how this actually works with removed options?

Tim Bartz (@FordVideoGuy) said - no Bronco scheduling this week… Also- he talked about what options Ford may be removing due to constraints. Subwoofer on the base stereo and heated mirrors were two examples. It wasn’t clear if those are officially removed or if they “might” be removed...

This would all be much more palatable if @Ford just did the bare minimum in communicating its intentions or plans. We shouldn't have to resort to witchcraft and divination to understand how allocations work, what orders are pulled and why, component constraints, where we sit in line, what plans...

All but one of these are 1/23. Interesting as the schedule was supposed to go through the first week of Feb.

Post up if/when you get that elusive email. For those of us who don’t get scheduled- at least we can see what trims are getting scheduled. If you can include order date- even better.

Let's assume 20k orders didn't convert with a conservatively guessed average deposit of $200 (some had none, many had $100-$500 and some had $1000+). That translates into $4m worth of deposits. A relatively small number across dealers and FoMoCo but to book/ recognize all those refunds in one...

@flip- Thanks. How many outstanding orders do you guys have in total and what have you been getting from an allocation standpoint? Trying to gauge how Ford is moving through the backlog.

My first order webpage just disappeared/ broken link one day with no explanation or resolution from Ford... got one again when I converted over to '23. Ford doesn't do the interwebs very well.

It could be interesting to see what the next few batches of scheduling look like. Do the remaining old timers get scheduled (excluding grossly under-allocated dealers) and Ford starts to make a dent in the 1 year+ high-constraint order holders? Or does Ford continue to be the biggest car company...

Wow... that's a big percentage. Is it because of their limited allocation forecast for 2023?

I thought all of these converted orders were limited to COVP to avoid that.

No Bronco scheduling this week

Glad to see a bunch of reservation holders with loaded builds get dates. With no date for my order, I will officially cross the one year mark from order date without a scheduled build. Feels like a graduation of sorts. Probably could’ve gotten a Ferrari faster…
