You won’t know 22 options until August or September of 21. For second year it is just going to be colors tops and more money for current options. Keeping base price the same.
When items are on commodity restraint your vehicle is produced when everything is available. Being this is a new vehicle it won’t be available for an option for obx or badlands. If you want to delay your order, it will more than likely be available to do so on a wildtrak or first edition.
I’m assuming it is like my super duty. Left in drive you can lock out gears and the tranny will take care of everything up to those gears. In manual mode it will be completely on the driver for shifting up in gears.
They expect a 75 conversion rate so 142k would be their estimate. It is more than likely going to be a 40 conversion rate or 76k. Production probably won’t ramp up until March or April once scheduling begins. August is usually when ford stops orders for trucks/suvs. Production would end in...
My take is they will only offer it on just the lower trims. Possibly just base. There is going to be a very low take rate. Don’t gauge this forum as an average consumer. The base will have the least options, least weight, and be the most capable with manual sasquatch. Just my opinion.
There are a lot of good dealerships out there. Unfortunately I don’t know how many people these below invoice dealers are going to attract. With the 50/50 model it we’ll definitely affect there allocation number on the back 50. That is, if they are a smaller dealership. I think truck/suv sales...
I just see production delays. It is an outside supplier. They will be making them in the background for the next year to ramp up. They will then release them when they have a back stock. If they make to many they will have wasted money on the shelf so I presume there will be delays. They will...
So when building you have to trade in your soft opening to upgrade . On the light side that is $1000. Add to that their initial cost of $1900. In addition there will be oversized shipping due to not being absorbed by vehicle cost of $300-$500. Plus tax and any adjustments you are looking at...
I’ve ordered a lot of vehicles. Money down prior to order is just a measure of good faith. They want to know you are purchasing the vehicle. It goes to your down payment. Some require it but I put money down regardless because I’m picky on what I typically want upon delivery. It gives me...
I would get a visor homelink button set for 1/2 the cost. Cut a hole in the visor mount it and run the wires to the fuse panel in the driver or passenger kick panel.
I personally am getting the mic. As stated above it is a steal. It will pair with one of my color choices. I will also get a bimini aftermarket. If I was waiting for a painted hardtop (black) I would have to be pretty patient. Understanding that they will be satisfying the wildtrak and first...
If it holds up to a minority of people purchasing, it has to be worth their while. In saying that they may just keep the same pricing. Reason I say that is because without the automatic on trims other than badlands that would be an increase of 30-40 percent over the automatic. Only ford knows...
Only ford knows... In my way of thinking.. The 7k-8k manual orders that may occur 1/2 will be squatched. So for those 3.5k-4K units I feel there will be a premium. There may be some additional parts/engineering hence late availability. Otherwise they would just throw the package together on a...
