Even that guy in the lifted/modified Jeep looked a little green on the trail. Lift, tires and lockers will definitely help you on the trail but an experienced driver makes all the difference.
I'll admit, I haven't been on the Rubicon trial. But according to this episode of Dirt Everyday, they took old stock vehicles on the trail and made it. They did have to winch out, mind you, but if old stock trucks can do it with old technology and not the best setups, surely this Bronco with all...
I had some high hopes when I saw him back up to pick a different line and then see him steering into the rock to allow it to climb, and then those dry-ass tires just slipped and I let out an "ahhhh, man!"
Definitely something I wouldn't want to have happen if I took my new Bronco out on the...
All terrains on rocks like that? Are they even aired down? I wonder if they had anyone with experience drive on those things are if they're just Ford pencil pushers.
What about one of those full length auto retractable types of steps? Otherwise I've seen wives in Jeeps with those foldable foot steps that they attach a rope to so they can pull it back into the vehicle after getting in haha. Hey, it's cheap and kind of funny looking, but it works!
Yeesh! Those steps would get ripped off on a trail in an instant. That removable option would be nice. Unless you don't do any wheeling, then you do you!
The interior width of the cargo area is narrower than the length of each door in the two door. Maybe instead of having the doors go driver/passenger-wise, to have them go fore/aft in the cargo area. But with the back seats folded, you have that stupid 4" lip, so there goes that flat surface...
I bet they're waiting for Jeep to come out with an updated wrangler. Like the 392 or something. I wouldn't put it past both manufacturers colluding together to string is all along. I mean, why not? They both have us fanatics in the palms of their hands. They're just playing us like fools and...
I think the rattles you hear are par for the course out there anyway. Just like a ski hill on a sunny day, it's hard to see all the woops and divots in the sand but I'm pretty sure they're hitting them at a pretty good clip. I haven't heard a vehicle not make any noise like that on Silver Lake...
I would've been satisfied if they came up with an under storage tray that levels everything out. I could store some gear in there or something and when the back seats are folded, it'd be flat. I get it that some of us can make something or buy it on the aftermarket, but that's not the point when...
