I agree with the factory mount being as good as it gets right now. I myself thought, at first, that the factory setup stuck out too much or looked funny, but I think that's because the factory bumper is actually more tucked in than a Wrangler bumper. So given that, Ford had no choice but to have...
Your receipt looks a little different than mine
I haven't contacted them since the transaction though.
I'm not trying to start a fire here.... just wanted to see whether that little bit of paranoia in me was warranted or not. Now my level is raised slightly by this
I already gave the new dealership the money, as I stated. I'm just questioning why it's not reflecting on my online reservation page - that's all.
I get it. Upon initial reservation, I paid Ford $100 and picked my dealership. Ford then credited that $100 to the dealer.
Then I called Ford and...
I just find it strange that when we initially made our reservation (to Ford), that the money was sent to the dealership. Then, when I switched the reservation (through Ford), the original dealership issued me a credit and the new dealership (Stephen's in my case) asked for the $100 to go...
I have a receipt from Stephen's. I just figured that by giving them the money, that they somehow notify Ford that I paid them. I guess that may not be the case. Just don't want Ford seeing that there's no deposit listed on their end and then they don't contact me to place an order or something.
I switched to Stephen's about a month ago and called them to pay them the $100 because Ford refunds you the money when you switch.
Is it normal for your Ford account to show $0 paid on your reservation after everything is said and done?
Hoping this doesn't affect my actual reservation.
I think the OP is referring to the fact that there are just too many options, not enough choices. It's been said before. It might've been easier on everyone if they limited the number of models down to 3 or 4 and made the differences between them greater, instead of blurring the lines between...
Kudos for having the balls to state this apparently unpopular opinion!
Although I'd say that I'm a car guy, having worked on them either personally or professionally for the last 30 or so years, I can understand how all the models have sort of blurred together. Perhaps for me it's because I've...
