I got my MY23 Wildtrack window sticker yesterday. I got the lux package and the window sticker says heated steering wheel. It's not as important for me (never had one) but if they were going to remove it I would imagine they would not print it on the window sticker. Also would it really only be...
I did this as well. Had an Aug 2021 reservation waiting to be converted and when they reopened this past September for reservation holders I converted to an order on Sept 30th. On October 6th I got scheduled for Nov 21st. Got bumped a week later to the 28th. I just got my window sticker today...
Just checked, got my window sticker. Called ford customer service and got my build date of 11/28. Estimated delivery date 12/12. I hope everyone else is getting theirs soon as well.
I think "FORD" just looks so much better than "BRONCO". If it was an option I would definitely chose it. Might take a bit more motivating for me to cut and force a part to fit though. If they sell it as an even swap for a good price I'd buy it.
I test drove a wildtrack and heard engine noises that didn't quite match when pressing the gas. Sounds like fake noises being played that someone screwed up the timing for. I hope my wildtrack doesn't sound like that.
Doesn't the back glass open with lift supports?
My 05 explorer back glass shattered when I very gently tapped a tree with my bumper while reversing. I found out the lift supports can be over-compressed and basically force the glass "open" with any influencing force (a bump or example).
No kidding? That's amazing! I guess your "mark up" is the flight and gas cost but that sounds like adventure expenses to me. Congratulations. I'm glad I made the (small) effort to post it. This forum has been crucial to my bronco ordering experience and hearing about 2 badlands being sold at...
Got an email from a dealer at John Kennedy Ford in Jenkintown, PA. They have two loaded badlands that customers turned down. Selling at MRSP
Both are $61,225
I have an order for a 23 wildtrak so im not interested. figured someone on here might be
EDIT: adding that they sent me the window...
I chose the dual top option (MIC and Soft top). It just says Soft top so I'm guessing its the factory soft top. I haven't done too much research into the differences in the soft tops since I was planning on getting the roof rack which requires the hard top. I eventually went dual top because I...
Congratulations on the bronco. Simply awesome. I have pretty much the same build as you (WT, race red, 4 Door, MIC w/ soft top, tow, Lux). Your photos are making me want my bronco now. I'm going to Shenandoah next week as well.
Scheduled for 11/28. Hopefully no more bumps and I get it by Dec...
Lol @ Steel Bash Plates
Great video. Hoping my wildtrack is built in November.
Question: I got the tube step. I was wondering if that was something I can take off myself. Might give me peace of mind driving on soft sand to have some added ground clearance.
Sorry if this was discussed somewhere else, but how does one get a golden ticket? Does the dealer reach out to reservation holders? order holders? Or would I have to reach out and say I'm interested if available? I'm scheduled and don't want to delay my current build but I wouldn't say no if I...
Don't have my bronco yet. What is limp mode?
Edit: Im sorry that happened to you. That atrocious service. Do you live in a desolate area? It's not even like it happened at 1am, it's 2 in the afternoon.
Converted my reservation on 9/30/2022, dealer gave me a similar schpeel. Said it could be Dec, or a year from now. 6 Days later I received my build schedule email. I think I just got lucky being at a small dealership.
If the dealer is communicating that it is the same thing as a Ford reservation than yes it is deception. But it sounds like a sales tactic to reign in hopeful bronco customers who have no direction other than to wait until order banks to open.
OP should follow through on the "reservation" when...
