I don't know. Every photo I've seen it looks as though the colors aren't matching.
I get that some people are saying this is just another complaint thread but seriously, would you be happy with all these different colors? If the blue on the hood was different than the blue on the doors would...
The more pictures I look at closely the more critical of Ford I get. In a recent photo uploaded to this site I counted 5 shades of gray - Bumper, fenders, mirror, MIC top and B pillar. I'm ignoring the tires.
Now looking at the soft top, the side and rear windows look awful in every picture...
I had something similar to the hoists above in my last house for my JK and left it when we sold the house. I'll probably get this - https://www.rollnjack.com
Nothing to install. Sure it costs more but it would be quicker to get the top on and off.
I think it is a little premature to decide to wait, at least for me, until I get the call from my dealer to put my order in. I'm not 100% happy with the way the different models are configured but this isn't unique to Ford. The Wrangler has limitations on what options are available for different...
In addition to the Cold Weather Group mentioned above, I'd like to see a stand alone B&O sound system.
This might be a B&P bug but if the Signature Lighting is an option on Big Bend it should be an option on Black Diamond.
Something that probably won't be addressed but I'm not a fan and I've...
I hope so. If not I'm going to have to decide what is more important. The steel rear bumper on the BD or the Signature lights on BB.
Technically, it does have LED lights, but not the Signature Lights. As far as the heated steering wheel goes, it is like heated seats. Once you've driven...
This BS might make me pump the breaks on a '21. I have a feeling Ford might be giving us the big FU on a Cold Weather pkg in hopes more people get the Lux pkg. It might be easier for assembly to do an all or nothing with everything in the Lux pkg and if demand is high enough Ford may not even...
To be fair, I may not be doing a good Apples to Apples. I ended up playing around a little more with different models. Specifically, the Big Bend and Black Diamond vs the Willys and those prices seem closer, if not cheaper than the Jeep.
Both Ford and Jeep do some things that make me scratch...
My build here is a lot more. Probably close to $4,000 more than my Jeep build. 2 Door Willys vs Badlands. I’m probably getting more vehicle with the Ford. I’m going to have to think about it.
Honestly, it's not things under the hood that worry me about a new Bronco. My biggest concern for problems is the top. Specifically, the hard top panels and rain / water management.
When the top is on I want to stay dry. When it's off, anything goes.
@Ksm Isn't that ferry pretty expensive? I used to live in GR and thought about it a couple times but the cost kept me away.
I looked it up. A bit over $200 one way for 1 person and a vehicle. I'd be curious to see what the net is. Savings to buy there vs the cost of the trip out and back...
Yeah, after B&P is out Friday I plan on contacting Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, where my reservation is now, and possibly Tom Holzer Ford in Farmington Hills. I'm thinking they'd be my first backup dealer. I'll be moving to Novi in early '21 and this will be my first Ford so I don't have any...
I haven't been yet. I joined a couple FB groups for the park and it looks like a mad house, lol. I wish they were open more than only weekends. There are some upcoming Federal Holidays that I have off that I could use to check it out but unfortunately, they're not on Fridays.
I agree 100% with @McCracken. I don't want to take the time to drive there and back, plus gas, food, lodging and that wear and tear on a brand new vehicle... I have X plan too (MCA) and with all the competition for business here in Michigan, especially those of us in Metro Detroit, I would be...
I'm okay with that. The Badlands will have 33s with lots of bells and whistles. Coming from a JKU to a 2 door Bronco (with the 2.3L) the hp and torque will be similar. HP will be a little less and torque will be a little more in the Bronco. If I can get the V6 without spending a lot of $, great...
I'll see what the exact cost ends up being but I'm planning on the Badlands 2.3L and 10A. I may consider the 2.7L if it doesn't impact the price too much. I still haven't decided on Buy or Lease and may not know any details on lease payments until late spring / early summer '21.
My guess is that if the trim level you are getting can get the High pkg then you may be able to add elements of that package a la-carte.
The big one I want is the B&O sound system.
