If they were Swamppers, I'd consider changing them but the Territory tires should be fine.
In May of '16 I bought a JKU with Firestone M/T and drove 4 winters in Grand Rapids with them and never experienced an issue. Maybe you can't go as fast and/or need a little more room to stop but the...
Yeah, I read about the change the other day. Something about "if you liked the original format you probably won't like the new one." I was a freshman in college when they went on the air. I was pretty traumatized when 98.7 WLLZ went off the air a few years later. These days I hardly listen to...
Anyone know of demo / display models at dealerships in SE Michigan? I'm 99% sure I'm going Black Diamond and now the question is Sasquatch or non. I know the 35" tires will look better but I'm hoping I can see the standard BD with my own eyes to make an educated decision vs a guess.
We go kayaking and it would be nice to leave my keys in the Bronco. That way on the off chance I loose the keys on the water we won't be screwed. $100 for that peace of mind is an easy trade off.
I have a '16 Willys Wheeler W JKU and like it a lot. If it wasn't for the Bronco I'd probably get a '21 2 door Willys.
The IFS is a big selling point for me. I've owned 6 Wranglers and I feel a little bad leaving Jeep but I'm not going to cut off my nose to spite my face.
I am sad the Bronco...
Decide for yourself. What colors (outside of a vehicle) are important to you? Do you have a favorite? How about a favorite sports team? College colors? Hogwarts house? Anything you feel strongly about?
It's really nice to see a BD with these wheels. It's going to make my decision tough. This exact setup or this with Sasquatch. It's a $3,500 difference and roughly $2 a day in the payment for me. I'd like to keep the cost and payment down but I think I'd regret not going with the Sasquatch.
The $60,000 for the Corvette is the starting price. You can expect to pay $80k - 90K depending on the model and options. The Bronco starting price is roughly $30,000.
Currently, for Wranglers, it is only the first row. The top works on 2 door or 4 door Wranglers. Maybe Bestop (and Ford?) think if you're going to want to fold over the 2nd row too that maybe a regular soft top is your best option...?
I don't have any pics of my own but there are many on Bestop's site. It comes in the Black Diamond material and Twill. I have the Twill and it is MUCH darker than the Jeep's hardtop and I'm sure would be a huge difference with the MIC Bronco top. The Black Diamond would be a shade or two lighter...
Has there been any recent information on the soft top for hard top? (pictured below)
I'm assuming this is a Bestop product as they make the same thing for Wranglers, called the Sunrider for Hardtop. I have it on my JKU now and this week is the perfect example of why someone would want one. It...
What? Something not working on a Land Rover? That never happens. In the end, I told the general manager of the dealership I bought mine from I hoped someone would steal my rover and set it on fire. After putting him in touch with my attorney I got them to buy it back.
Wrangler headlights are somewhat recessed so snow can accumulate on that off set space. The Bronco lights are not recessed. Hoping that would alleviate some of the issues.
I didn't know that was a thing.
In a Land Rover I had back in the day it had a heated windshield. Definitely helped with defrosting and melting heavy snow as it came down. The biggest drawback was if the sun was at the right (or wrong?) angle, you could see the wires and it was a tiny bit...
I've owned 6 Wranglers in my life. The only issues I've ever had is a tiny bit of water coming during a car wash with soft tops. I've owned two hard tops with their freedom panels and never had a leak.
The tops were only ever an issue when it was raining and getting in / out of the Jeeps. The...
