the ending 6 digits of a vin are a sequence for production. the first 11 digits are specific across the make. here is a link of how ford has their vin structured.
*2021 VIN Guide (ford.com)
Typical VIN Universal Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) have 17 “positions.” There is a number or a letter in each position. Positions 1-3 World Manufacturer Identifier Position 4 Restraint System Type Positions 5-7 Make, Car Line, Series, Body Type Position 8 Engine Type - Displacement...
but it is an idea of how many have been produced. the people assigned the 68XXX numbers are probably waiting on a 2022 model. whereas the FE listed on ebay has a XXX394. so, if the factory has produced close to 400 of of this model
the VIN gives a actual number of produced vehicles for a model year. that number is the last 6 characters of the VIN. a way we can begin to figure out what the actual production numbers are would be to post the last six numbers of the VIN. if we are seeing numbers like XXX123, we know at least...
so now is the time to cancel their orders and get out of a purchase which will never bring them pleasure. i don't have a vin yet, but i either want to purchase the car i ordered or am too stubborn to admit i made a mistake...
yep, it seems like there are a lot of people who are dumb enough to buy a car they hate. i wish i was smart enough to make so many people spend their money on something they hate so much. hell, they are even getting in line and buying these stupid things before the factory can make them and...
everything is a trade off between cost, convenience, durability, and function... unfortunately all of those categories are in competition with one another rather than complementary..
having owned 6 soft top / convertible vehicles and installed tops on many of them. it is my opinion, this is a design aspect to facilitate ease of use. if the components are too tight, they will be difficult to remove or fold. it would appear the sides are tensioned when they are installed. they...

perhaps webasto sent perfect tops and some were damaged in transport or installation... there are too many possibilities to speculate. you guys are driving yourselves nuts...
full disclaimer: i have a bronco on order.
seems like everyone here is ragging pretty hard about jeeps. but it would appear jeeps are available. so, most of us who might see a trail, will see many more jeeps (and even bronco sports) than broncos now. why isn't anyone talking about 4runners...
any chance you could make a list of aftermarket wheel options. also perhape a wheel interchangeability guide. it would be great to see some option in colors other tha black, black or black...
bad roof could be anything from where they broke a window with a forklift to the installer leaned against it and their belt buckle scratched it. it does not mean the roof will fly off of every first edition when it hits 25 mph..... but it could.... new rumor, completely baseless (like most of...
i seriously doubt this is a significant percentage of the total production. the amount of dirt on the pictured cars look like they may have been out there for a day or two. if they are producing hundreds a day, this does not look too bad, unless it is your car which has the bad top. i wonder if...
