There are more computer modules, but also many, many more sensors that monitor almost everything. I can guarantee your 4 runner has had some issue with the transfer case in it's lifetime, it just can't tell when there is a Problem. My old Sequoia needed a new transfer case at 120k miles...
I don't know what your OBX has, but if it doesn't have sas. And a 2.7 (like a Wildtrack) that isn't a fair trade on their part. Those are the big options driving resale right now. They might get $5k adm on a non sas OBX, but could easily get $20k for a Wildtrack. Also at 15 months there are a...
***Boring Post Alert***
What you, or at least some of the commenters here are experiencing is direct injection at idle. The 2.7 is a dual injection motor. This has a lot of benefits, usually people claim it's just to clean off the back of the valves, but that isn't true. It's a bonus for...
If you like it, buy it. $5k is a modest markup for that vehicle. Would I personally pay $60k for a 2.3 non sas soft top? Absolutely not, but that's just me.
Just my opinion, but if you want a "lifetime" vehicle getting the high package with a bunch of extra cameras and electronics that are bound to break is probably not the best idea. The discos on Wranglers are also notoriously unreliable. The Bronco uses a new type of setup, but I'm not going to...
He's getting hung up because he's following the same line as rigs with bigger tires and higher lifts and expecting the same results. If you are running smaller tires like he is, you need to pick your lines more carefuly and pick your way through obstacles. 95% of his issues are bad driving/lack...
So you are talking a 2dr Badlands with 2.7 and LUX? Not surprising you haven't gotten anything yet. Mine is a 2.7 Sas. Mid 4D and just got built this month with a 7/14 res.
It's a night and day difference. I'm 5'11 but always found the JL interior too cramped and awkward even for my liking. The Bronco is very much like any other midsized SUV in that regard. Whenever I've been in my father in laws JL with him we are always almost touching shoulders it's so...
Managed to move some stuff around so I could pick it up today. After almost two years of waiting its almost a surreal experience to have it sitting in my driveway, and it so far has exceeded all my expectations. I can't wait for you all to get yours, you're going to love it!
A manual disco does the same thing, is way cheaper and way more reliable. The Ford demos are cool, but they are not realistic. I've never been on a trail where you have to constantly connect and disconnect the sway bar. You get to the trailhead, disconnect, and re connect when u are done.
It's terrible! And I can't find the compact disk player either, must be on the Lux package. What am I supposed to do with all my Ace Of Base CD's now Ford?!
Interesting. On my WS they split it from the package which I thought was odd, but it's still on there with optional Equipment/other. I assume they did that so they can do nav/removal as needed.
I've seen a few reasonably priced ones lately. A few lux non sas OBX's were basically at MSRP (though used). Anything with sas is still ridiculous. The secondary market seems to strongly favor capability features vs lux features. A used dealer near me just sold a base sas they had listed at...
