I installed hitch and harness myself. Works perfect. My Bronco doesn't know it's got a trailer connected. Am I missing something. Wtf does forscan have to do with it ?

I'd hook both to battery. 2awg is good for 100a so I'd use a 100a fuse. Fuses are to protect wiring!. You have a nominal 70a load to inverter. This way you would have a cushion for inrush current. Use the bolt on fuse not a plug in. I do police car stuff. Be careful also with the ac...

IF I had the bucks for a motorhome and a Bronco I bet I could scrape a few grand for a car trailer and a few bucks for a place to park it.
I wouldn't flat tow any vehicle. Too much can happen.

It's totally a personal preference. I have a 22 base 2 door. Great daily driver. Fun to drive and I have had zero issues with it. I've added Ford floor mats, trailer hitch and wiring and Big Bend wheels and tires..That's it.

Ok...kinda fugly. What's it covering? Wires? I would reroute wire to brake light and camera to come out hidden behind them. Then plug holes with snap in plastic cover. No huge plastic thing.
