just chatted with Ford - mine is now showing that it's produced, with an eta to my dealer of 9/1-9/7 ! Can chat give me the rail car info so I can track it on the train?
once again, this link is not working properly (tried on different devices and browsers).. I input my order number and vin, and it takes me right back to the same screen to enter my order number and VIN ...
last I saw this morning when it WAS working, was that I'm still "in production" status:(
I might look into that, but will also need to find a video on how to replace it (and save it to my phone in the event I need it when I have no signal), since I haven't replaced a tie rod end on a car in over 30 years.. that's part of why I drive new vehicles, I don't want to have to work on them LOL
he was on pavement, so there was nothing that should have caused his tire to NOT be able to turn.. and if you can't turn a tire on a concrete pad without worrying about the tie-rod snapping, that's pretty sad for a vehicle that is designed and marketed for being an off-road vehicle.
Initially, I thought the problem with tie rods snapping, was limited to the folks running 37" or bigger tires, and/or hardcore rock crawlers.. so I wasn't too worried - since I plan on keeping the stock 35" tires on my Sasquatch Badlands, and rock crawling doesn't interest me at all.. I prefer...
that actually sounds pretty decent - is that the 2.7 or 2.3? how much?
*never mind - just saw at the beginning of the video that it states it's the 2.7
I did see in the comments that there's noticeable drone on the highway though...
NICE!! My Bronco is in production right now, I'll definitely be getting these.. .wife and I have stopped spending money for a bit to reel things in, but as soon as I can, I'll order these
Great write up, thanks!! And, as an automotive photographer, I have to compliment you on the photos, you're clearly paying attention to direction of light, composition, background/foreground elements/distractions, etc... great shots!!
Mine has been 'in production' all week (Blend date was 8/5).. I'm sitting here pressing the 'refresh' button as if I'm sending an SOS message via morse code
Super exciting that some of you are already getting your production line photos, and shipment info!! mine is still showing 'in production', hopefully it'll switch to 'built' soon
