Interesting! I drove it through some thick, sticky mud last weekend, and doubt that I got all of it off at the car wash, especially in the hub area. I'll give it a good spray tomorrow and hope that the warning goes away. Thank you for the tip!
Thank you!
A friend suggested a bad wheel speed sensor, and scanning for codes at auto parts store - I'll be doing that in the morning.
Also checking fuses - those related to Terrain Mgmt (there seems to be one under the glove box), and whatever else.
This evening, and on the eve of my trip to Moab (tomorrow) from the Bay Area, CA, my Bronco threw a "Check 4x4" warning on the dash - all 4x4 modes have been disabled, and the G.O.A.T. knob flashes all four yellow indicator lights. I called the local dealer, and the manager suggested...
I ordered a hard top, but the wait would've been at least a year more - and then a soft-top came along. I have other soft-top cars, so don't miss that functionality at all with the Bronco, especially while offroading in dusty conditions or snow-wheeling.
@Jamesorriv There was nowhere to get stuck in, so you're good. Part of the loop trail is narrow and on the side of hills, so take it slow, while enjoying the awesome views. It was quite an amazing run, in terms of the wildflower/green hills views, and the 15 Broncos strung out along the...
The Mickeys gripped well in the ruts, mud, stream crossing, and their aggressive shoulder lugs grabbed and held on to the side walls of some ruts well, without the vehicle slipping into the rut (I was running 12 PSI). Pavement performance and handling are decent, but not quite as good as the GY...
The snow and ice is primarily why I got these wheels - to air down to 5 PSI in order to claw outta that icy bog!!
I had fun with these yesterday though, at 12 PSI, on some easy-going but slightly muddy mud/rut trails here in northern California. Running 35" Mickey Thopmson MTs.
Getting the rear supports erected and connected took me about two hours - half of which was spent installing the protecting film underneath the support feet, to protect the paint. The front supports and valance didn't take long, but again, more film installation time on the paint above the...
Just an update on the upcoming Tumey Hills run this Saturday - it's still ON! The weather looks to be decent, but the trail may be a bit muddy/slippery - but that won't stop our Broncos, will it?! BTW, if you have non-Bronco 4x4 friends who'd like to tag along, they're welcomed to!
As planned...
