Esprit de Four is holding its semi-annual offroading clinic on 9/16 - it's perfect for first-time offroaders, as the classroom portion goes over proper driving technique, as well as that for recovery, and related accessories... all this followed by hours of on-trail practice and fun! Here's a...

@MJBbase22 I like headiing south-to-north, and this is the southern entrance to the trail, you can see the trail on the map, on the east side of Hwy. 1. Just follow the trail, and you'll pop out by Bixby Bridge in about 45 min ~ 1 hr., depending on your speed and number of stops...

How to best an awesome wheeling run in Hollister than downing some yummy donuts in two weeks? That's what Central Coast Broncos is doing on Sat. 8/26, at Cruel Donuts in San Mateo. But wait, there's more - after we're sugared up, we'll head out on SR-92, and on over to Alice's Restaurant and act...

We have 18 rigs signed up on Facebook, which is insane; this will be CCB's largest gathering/run yet. I'm not sure that the Starbucks parking lot will hold us all! A reminder - bring your GMRS radio - if you only have an FRS, bring that too, we can communicate on those frequencies as well. See...

Exactly, about accommodations. There are a couple of campgrounds in the state park, and sites may open up if you keep checking; otherwise, try in-town, Grover City. I found an Airbnb when I booked a couple of months back, but it was already expensive (due to Father's Day weekend?). If you can...

For those participating in Central Coast Broncos' Broncos On The Dunes next weekend, here are some logistics: Our plan is to arrive in Pismo at/just before noon on Friday, grab a bite, and hit the dunes. We can then decide on where to have dinner (brewery, burger joint?), and then call it a...

@WildOne I think that you can start with sand, too (it's not any more difficult than mud/ruts - rock-crawling is a different animal altogether, however); the important thing is to have other rigs out there with you, to help guide/recover you if you get stuck.

Welcome! Door off is really fun - some of us are headed to Pismo next weekend, and our group rule is that everyone's gotta take their doors off ;-)
  19. Door storage bags and garage storage

I have the in-vehicle bags, and to me they're sturdy/padded sufficiently to protect the doors, inside/outside of the vehicle; the in-vehicle bags are thus more versatile. Yes, the handles are strong enough to hang up the doors on the wall.
  20. BL vs WT SAS Springs - 2022/older

Springs, too? As I understood the WT was more meant for desert-running vs. BL for rock-crawling; If the suspension were the same, the only difference would be in the BL's Stab. bar disconnect.
