My passenger side grab handle on the center console is also loose. I tried tightening the bolt but it doesn't thread far enough to stop the handle from having movement. Waiting for more issues to pop up before I take it in for this.
Not that I can see.
Roof was down all day and no AC.
I didn't fill up, but my initial thought was heat from something under this area like the exhaust.
Softop so no plumbing.
Thanks everyone for the ideas. Keep them coming.!
Thanks for all the replies. Here is vehicle information, it's a badlands with MGV so this is the "waterproof" vehicle. I have a soft top so no washer disconnected or anything.
It did rain yesterday but there is no other water in the trunk. Today I had the top down, doors off and it was 88...
I have noticed condensation in the rear under floor storage. I have tried leaving it open and empty for a day to dry out. It appeared to dry out but then the next day I checked it and it was wet again. Has anyone else noticed this as well?
My concern is that it is going to get mildew or...
Feedback on softop door removal and storage. It can be done, didn't put all of them in the trunk but put one in to simulate. It's probably a little trickier than the hardtop because of the way the softop rear window folds. But other than that no issue.
I will say make sure you zip the door...
They won't fit under the seat folded down and you don't want to set anything on them. They scratch very easy. I plan on making a storage bag that will hold them in the back.
Dealer can add them. I have my Bronco, 4 door soft top and bags for doors. I think it's just a B&P issue not an actual order issue.
I haven't had the doors off yet but plan on removing them tomorrow. Not sure if I will throw them in the back or the garage. If I put them in the back I will...
I will say I am impressed by the 2.7L numbers. Has anyone posted 2.3L auto mpg numbers? Would be interesting to see if it's the same, worse or better. I am wondering if the 2.7L and 10 speed efficiency maps are better aligned than the 2.3L.
I know there have been some questions about the noise in the soft top. Below are two phone measurements done with the soft top closed. The first was done at 60mph on a country road and the second was done at 80mph on the highway.
I have not had it auto set, always had to manually set it. It will auto release if you start to drive away with it engaged. I have noticed if the car isn't running and you try and release it, it doesn't. It may release if you do a hold but doesn't with just a quick push.
I haven't had any...
The first tank came with the vehicle, so I am guessing it was 87 and since then I have been running 93. Butt Dyno tells me it has a little more down low. Could also just be getting used to it and being better about gear selection, haha.
Good job getting 19mpg. I am getting 16.4mpg in a 2.3L manual 4 door badlands. I think I was getting about 17.5mpg for the first 500 miles, not beating on it now but definitely more willing to rev it out. I also track miles and gallons on fill ups and would say the mog calculator in the...
No regrets. Have just under 1,000 miles on it now. More willing to just roll on the throttle and being more mindful about the gear. I have also been running premium. Not sure if it's just mental but it does feel seat of the pants a little quicker. Don't think you can go wrong with either...
Got my Bronco last week and then ordered the tailgate table at that time, showed up today and installed it. So just a heads up it is a little tricky. I would recommend 2 people to assemble and 2 beers each. Installation is not for the squeamish, you have to drill 4 holes in your brand new...
The funny thing, the closer you get the antsier you will be. I think I was checking status every couple hours once I had a window sticker
It is the worth the wait!
