  1. 2021 Badlands 2.3 MT TOP SPEED

Better than the VW Thing I drove ā€œback in the day.ā€
  2. My 1 month summary of the likes and dislikes for my Bronco Badlands

Definitely agree with comments on tach and lack of a hand brake. Also agree with comments on the manual transmission and the base radio. Badlands 2 door Mansquatch, no other options.
  3. Manual Transmission in for replacement!

I’ve had my Bronco about a month and love it…so far. There does seem to be a gremlin that causes the headlights to stay on (and no, I’m not hitting the switch with my knee). Having become a firm believer and purchaser of Toyota products, which are very reliable, it blows my mind to see the...
  4. For those that have their Broncos, what's your biggest complaint?

The instrument layout is silly. A conventional tach, along with speedo, odometer, temp, amp, oil pressure, gas gauges would be most appreciated. The ā€œmiles to emptyā€ being on the default screen is nice though. I have a manual and it’s cool that the the gear you’re in is displayed. Never had...
  5. Bronco submerged in water during Maine high tide

    ā€œWho’s the U-Boat commander?ā€
  6. Insurance Cost?

I have my wife and 21 year old daughter on our policy. The first quote for my Badlands(4th car) came back at a rapacious $600+ for 6 months. After considerable protest, that came down to $300+, when she plugged it in as a ā€œBaseā€ and listed it as not my daily driver. We use Allstate. Good luck.
  7. Less than 24 hours of ownership… is this bad luck??

    ā€œā€¦it’s good luck…in Haiti.ā€
  8. 45 Degree Beach Shots (Long Island)

    That second pic is phenomenal!
  9. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

I’ve had it for a week now. Very happy with it. Manual tranny.
  10. IAG V2 EZ- Step Add-On

I took delivery of my 2door Badlands Sasquatch on Saturday. Personally, I don’t need the step, but it wasn’t a pretty picture when my I took my wife and her sister to dinner. Especially, assisting one of them into the back seat. I ordered the V2’s the next day.
  11. Give a shout out to your dealership if they honored MSRP pricing

Right back at you on the color & the doors! Looks a little colder in Plymouth than Austin though. Josh at Covert Ford in Austin was great.
  12. Give a shout out to your dealership if they honored MSRP pricing

Covert Ford, in Austin. They already had my ā€˜21 price protection figured in, without my having to ask. Picked it up on Saturday.
  13. Bronco Sunset Pics - Clean Build w/ Painted Fender Flares, Fifteen52

Snapped this one at Austin Off Rodeo a week ago. That’s a pre-production on display that’ll get crushed eventually. So sad.
  14. 02/28/22 Build Week Thread

Congrats on taking delivery of your beautiful rig & thanks so much for the train updates. I’m taking delivery at 1:30 tomorrow. Get out to the Off-Roadeo asap. I did it last weekend and it was an absolute blast.
  15. 02/28/22 Build Week Thread

    Damn Bermuda Triangle!
  16. Austin TX and off-roadeo next week (3/23)

I’m actually driving up to do the Off Roadeo in the morning and hoping to take delivery this week. Opie’s BBQ in Spicewood is a good option on the way out Highway 71West to the Off Roadeo ranch.
  17. Austin TX and off-roadeo next week (3/23)

Tex-Mex at Matt’s El Rancho(no reservations taken). Sit up on the upper deck at El Alma for Mex. Fonda San Miguel for a very nice, interior Mexican dinner. Stiles Switch for BBQ, unless you have time to burn in line at Franklins or La Barbecue. Avoid E. 6th St. like the plague. West 6th...
