They did such an amazing job with this bronco. It really saddens me that they have such a disdain for us fans of the manual.
Knowing the manual exists, automatic was never an option for me. Zero chance. After learning about how limited my options are, I'm starting to daydream about how...
I think you underestimate how proud Ford is of their little turbo engines. Hell, not even the raptor or half million dollar supercar are available in a V8.
I was building a custom home for a guy and his shower had 2 shower heads. One on the left and one on the right side. He told our plumber he wanted one of them at like 5 foot off the ground and the other at normal height. The plumber put the shorter one on the left instead of the right, simple...
Ask the Suzuki samurai community about turning huge tires with a tiny engine. The Suzuki stock is under 60hp and people throw 36 inch tires on them all the time. All it takes is proper gearing, the 2.3 eco will be great.... Not as great as the 2.7, but really good.
I
I 100% want base+squatch+manual and literally nothing else. Zero options.
To answer the OP, you can do the dirt road and camping you described in a Honda Civic. It's less about what you NEED and more about WANT. The Sasquatch sounds like such an amazing deal, there will be a ton of 35s...
They did such a great job with the design of this thing. The last questioning him on which one he wants, I'm thinking his answer is hinting towards the warthog/raptor...
I feel similar. The bronco in general turned out to be such an amazing rig, but the restrictions with the manual are a Buzzkill for me. I'll just have to wait and watch for more news. So far we have only heard the "no mansquatch" from one source (admittedly a very prominent source). Maybe he...
And that's where warthog comes in, I bet $100 it's not going to be a V8 either. I heard rumors (on these forums) to expect a hybrid with like 600 lbs torque...
I think Ford is trying to kill off the V8 in general. I'm surprised the new F150 wasn't all Ecoboost and zero coyote. I'm convinced Ford is actually angry that they feel the pressure to still make a V8 with manual mustang. Even their half million dollar super car was Ecoboost....
Seeing as how both the 2 and 4 door are listed at the same 3500 towing rating, it's gotta be a temporary placeholder number. I fully expect the numbers to change, I can't imagine them both being the same.
I don't understand? Can I connect my phone with Bluetooth and listen to podcasts? That's all I want. Even an aux cord is good enough. What's apple and Android play or whatever do?
It's really making me rethink things. No matter what I want a manual, that is non negotiable. I just need more information on what I actually can get in a manual and what it will cost. More information needed.
aaaand... You gotta settle for the weaker engine. Too many concessions we gotta make simply to get the transmission we want. I'm thinking about settling for a nice 90s full size bronco and modifying that instead
