I understand the value of the safety features, and that they do save lives. What worries me is when the features react unpredictably, such as the reports of autonomous brakes engaging randomly on the highway or to objects on the side of the road. I had a rental that nearly gave me a heart attack...
I'm a newbie (but not a new thread starter). How many members does the Forum have?
BTW, I *really* appreciate all of the information contained here. I had been lurking for months before joining. God bless everyone for sharing their knowledge and opinions.
If Ford is reading the Forum...It would be very helpful to have an official video for each trim level explaining features, engines, showing the rear seat fold, color and roof options, how to remove the doors and roof, packages, etc. This should have been included at launch; there was plenty of...
I'm old school, I want a two door even though the four door is more practical. It's rare I have more than one other person in the car, and when I do we can take the Escape or rent a car.
What is the percentage of two door vs. four door Wranglers for comparison to Bronco sales?
Two door Base, 10 speed automatic, am undecided on 2.3 vs. 2.7, color depends on what is actually offered on Base and whether a white top is an option. 12" infotainment and sound deadening. Accessories depend on cost.
My Escape will be the daily driver -- if/when I go back to my office job, the...
My hobbies include watching hockey and football, especially the Penguins, Steelers, and Penn State; playing trivia; hiking; visiting national parks; and obsessing about Broncos.
I've wanted a two door Bronco my whole life.
Can't afford a 4Runner. Jeep Death Wobble. No FIAT for me. Plus, as so many people stated, WAY too many Sheeps around. I want to drive something a little more unique (for now, anyway).
I test drove a Crosstrek and the tiny 152hp engine didn't impress me. The 2021 Crosstrek will have an optional 182 hp engine. If I were in the market for a crossover, I'd consider the Bronco Sport for the larger engine and 4x4. It also reminds me of the early Escapes. But I'm going for the 2-dr...
I was worried. The cd player in my Escape no longer functions, and the radio is spotty. The cassette deck works fine, and I can listen to music on my phone, but one of the creature comforts I want in a new ride is to be able to listen to music or a podcast on my phone via the vehicle's speakers...
I'm with you. I really wanted the Escape when it was introduced, but waited until the second model year. I've been dreaming about a Bronco my entire life. I don't want to be a guinea pig, but also don't want to wait any longer.
