One of the reasons I bought a Chrome Yellow Escape was being able to find it in a parking lot. My previous two cars were a light blue Civic hatchback and a blue/black Saturn. There were dozens of these everywhere. I like driving something a little more unique, and a vehicle that's easier to...
The year wait is going to be tough, but I think it will be worth it. I test drove or had as a rental over 20 vehicles in the last 18 months. None of them impressed me enough to want to buy one, even the Wrangler.

I'm a pretty humble guy, so I'm very content. If the Base model doesn't come in yellow (I drive a yellow Escape), I can have it painted. I'm thrilled to finally be able to drive a Bronco, it's been my dream ride for decades.
My Base will be pretty basic. Automatic transmission is a must. Undecided about upgrading to the 2.7 engine. The 2.3 will probably be powerful enough for the drive "home" to Pittsburgh several times a year and the trail roads I plan to drive.
