Yeah this has me on the fence too. I’d want them to act like the builtin cabin lights. Doors + cabin light switch.
IAG does the harness require you to pick one option or the other, or could you connect both to doors and aux to have them come on if either is activated?
If connected tapping into the factory wiring so they come on when the doors open, then won't the cabin light switch also turn them on making the Aux not necessary?
I'm new to this but have read this whole thread and many others, as well as a lot of other content to try to educate myself.
I have a non-SAS Badlands that I'd like to lift and add 35" tires.
Two questions I have that I haven't seen an answer to -
1) If I use strut spacers on a non-SAS...
This looks great. I'm having a hard time telling what color it is with the light and reflections in the photos? For me I'd prefer it to be as close to black as possible.
I usually have all 4 doors off so I'd need an option that accommodates 4. I prefer the 4 door specific system, but I'll wait for something sub $400. I'm not saying these aren't worth it, they just aren't worth it at that price for me.
Can you be more specific about "all the way". How far away from "clicking" into fully retracted does it get?
I'm definitely in on the bracket and the tray, and I'll even buy the shorter boards to make it work. Just trying to understand what I'll be giving up re: soft top usage.
I've actually been getting better mileage in 4A. I was talking to some off-rodeo guides a few weeks ago and they said during their training the Ford engineers said 4A was designed to be able to run fulltime for the life of the vehicle, and will not negatively affect gas mileage. I asked why it...
Mine does the same but I'm also in a Badlands with it enabled with Forscan.
I just leave it in 4A 100% of the time anyway so it doesn't matter, but curious if its a Badlands\Forscan specific behavior.
I was just at an offrodeo yesterday and experienced the backup camera issue. It only happened when in 4L. Changing the settings to have it turn off automatically when exiting reverse, or driving over 6/7 mph had no effect. I was told by the guide it’s a “glitch” ford is aware of and will be...
