Why? To follow Jeeps down rocky trails, in a vehicle that looks a little different than a Jeep. Is it so hard to believe somebody would want to do that?
That's a pretty good summary actually. I think some life-long Chevy fans are walking away, because other than Corvette, there is not much to get excited about.
IMO, the one exception in your list though is ZR2. While it may not be perfect, I think the Colorado deserves the badge.

It looks like GM does not sell the current Blazer in Argentina. Their SUV lineup there consists of Tracker, Spin, Spin Activ, Equinox, and Trail Blazer (different from the North American Trail Blazer). None of those models appear to be a Blazer under a different name.
Anyway, I agree, this...
First, that's a very uninspired photoshop. It's a Colorado ZR2 with a cut-and-paste of some Tahoe parts as a bed cap. My favourite bit is the lights in the middle of the roof, that would typically be mounted on the "sport bar." I don't know who made this image, or why, but simply put, it's...
Other people who might be considering cold calling dealers and picking up a Bronco, as this thread suggests. Not everyone has an extra $8k to piss away.
I took my RZR 4S on some rocks last weekend. It was very tippy, and made my wife very nervous. She chose to exit the vehicle on the tricky spots. On the plus side, she recorded some video clips.
She does not mind mud, or high speed trails (she's not a total chicken), but really does not like...
The only time my old truck ever got close to overheating was when I took it to the Silver Lake sand dunes on a hot summer day. All that heavy throttle input with only moderate speeds can work the cooling system pretty hard.
I enjoyed the video. Nice high resolution shots of the Bronco static, and in motion.
I think the wheels actually look pretty good.
Functionally, they should work fine for daily drivers with some light off road usage. My last off road truck had 32" tires and 16" wheels. I felt like I had a...
It's totally fine. I see nothing wrong here. It's a big luxurious SUV.
Is the issue that they used the Wagoneer name, and people already have decided what a "Wagoneer" should be, based on a model from many years ago?
