Are you seriously saying this damaged your paint? Pics? You must love the rock chips offered up by your tires. :(
Does this Badlands risk it’s paint off-road?
Does it get hand washed or go through an automatic car wash?
I’m not hassling you for babying your Bronco if that is how you...
I thought many people here would be interested in this WSJ article. It's behind the paywall, hence the bulk of text not a link. Ford has forgotten how to run a cost-effective and quality-efficient business. And while I love my Bronco, evidence of all of these issues are too easy to find...
The angular design clashes with the body. Not a fan. As to your design intent, while that is cool, I like the idea of plastic flares more than steel. For off road use, it’s great to make them “consumable”. Nice enough to work, cheap enough to not care if you snag or break one on a rock or...
12K miles. Incl. one 6K cross country trip and rock / trail idling. VA garage kept.
The GOOD news here is we don’t have brittle valves. The Ford planners wanted to spread the wealth so you can only get a bad trans or bad engine, but generally not both. The 2.3 automatic guys are probably...
Please hold while I grab my camera and hold it in front of the dashboard while accelerating through the gears. (I have nothing else to do today.) Let's see, one hand on the wheel, one on the camera, one shifting, and one holding the cigar. Did I mention the cigar? My Bronco will not start...
Many modern MT vehicles have rev hang to help reduce emissions. It’s horrible on recent turbo BMWs. Having said that I don’t notice any rev hang on my 22 MT BL. Suspect you have something amiss with yours.
I believe the 7MT Bronco has a feature which pops the throttle a bit for you when taking off in first to help prevent stalling. It’s very noticeable (and cool) in 4L.
Old news for old Turbos. Yes, his was relevant to my 85 T-Bird Turbo Coupe. New materials, lubricating, and active/passive water cooling architectures make this…old news.
My Staun's are set as on arrival at 16-17. I run that pressure regularly on the rocks, some sharp ones in the East in VA/PA, and smoother ones out west in CO/UT... so far no issues. From the looks of my banged up trim rings, I am probably banging the side walls around a fair amount as well.
Suggest Carvana. Sold several of vehicles to them. Hyundai. BMW. Tesla 3. In all cases 3-5K more than Carmax and dealers. I don’t know how they make any money.
