Additionally since I’m pulling wires apart I am going to upgrade the two interior lights and possibly figure out how to put an overhead led light with a switch.
Here you can see it applied. I get it at HVAC supply places. I’ve used it on the floor board of my 1980 C3 vette under the carpet and it works great again for noise and temp control.
The foam roll is really sticky. On a clean surface this stuff works great for knocking down the noise. And provides a heat barrier. Putting it over the wheel wells I imagine it to reduce tire road noise. I removed all the modules bolted to the wall so I can get as much in as possible. I...
Once I started pulling the inside panels out. I started adding boom mat for better sound deadening. As well as thermal foam roll. Now this stuff we used when I was building tiny houses and wrapped ducting up to keep it quiet and insulated.
So what started as me going about installing the Ford Factory Hitch VP2DZ-15A416-B trailer tow kit morphed into more things SINCE I was there. I pulled the factory bumper off my 24’ Badlands w/hilux package. Removing the six bolts was fairly easy. Once I had that removed. I cleaned up all...
Yes. I had to drill two small holes. Then bevel the inside to make it fit flush. Siliconed them in and carefully tightened the nut. The silicone dried seals it up and the nut won’t back down. They are wired into my fog lights. So I can tune them off. But they def add a bit of distinction to...
Where are you located? I live in Harbor Springs. Bought my badlands Jan 30,25’. Have 113 miles on bronco. I took them off and kept all the brackets. Even ordered the correct bolts to install them back on another Bronco.
Also wanted to post. The bumper led lights. The Yellow lights I installed in the bumper work great at day or night. Snow falling or fog. Even dusty roads. It stands out easily. Not super bright. I put them on my Polaris Ranger and Razor.
I did not install them yet. I had to figure out how to cut out a notch in the fog light kit. I will eventually put them on. I already took off my crash bars in the front while I was at it.
Setting up the rear is my next big thing. Trying to decide on a quality bumper. Hitch receiver install. Auxiliary lights for hooking up trailers or even backing up with better lighting on the trails. I need to mount up a more sturdy spare tire support bracket and want to add a rotopax gas...
Quick view of lights. Before going bezerk on all sorts of aftermarket lights much less bearing the expense I’m getting the wiring done. We have 120 acre hunting camp in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan. And out there having light is crucial.
I gotta mount mine in. After I put the pocket fog lights in. I was like hmm. I gotta modify the plastic housing. Guessing too the bracket adds support overall. Which I’m for. I just gotta mesh the two. If it were Baja designs or diode dynamics light kits it’s easily bolt in. But I’m not at a...
Definitely love the silver. I had nearly purchased a White one. But went with Silver for a bit more. I have a white Ram 2500 megacab and a white Subaru already. Charcoal grey Expedition too. So the Silver fit the vehicle really good.
Since the grill was removed I decided to change out the letters with UPR Grill letters in black. Personally I didn’t like the white letters. But I know it’s tied to the classic Bronco. I cleaned everything up and ceramic coated the whole grill with EXO from Gtechniq. A company I’ve used...
I added the factory side steps and took off the rock sliders. Last year I broke my back and was paralyzed. Spinal fusion of 5 vertebrae and months and months of recovery and therapy I was able to walk again. But I’m handicapped for life. So the rock sliders did me no good getting in. The...
