They replaced some of the weather stripping around the door but the window is still hitting when you open the door so now they are ordering a new motor for the door. As far as the weather stripping for the hard top (in the pic I posted) they sort of just pushed it back into place, but I guess...
Don’t get me wrong, I love my Bronco and it’s the most fun thing I’ve ever driven but I’m really questioning the long term quality of the hard top and window designs. I’m now waiting to have my second window fixed for “falling off the track” (it basically stops going all the way up, keeps...
I still need to take a video and reply to @Ford Motor Company , I noticed it’s only happening on warmer days, so just need to get my wife to drive with me on a warm day so I can record it.
I had the same issue a few months back on my front passenger side and took it back to my dealer (empire ford of huntington) and they said it had come off its track. It’s fixed now and no issues.
So im thinking if I swap the 4 inch rear speakers with something better (like Kicker CS speakers) and maybe used bass blockers, and got the flash done, this would get some pretty good results for little cost…?
I took your advice and just did the two front speakers with the 4 inch kicker, bass blockers and the bass cups, it’s an inexpensive upgrade that actually improved the sound quite a bit. I didn’t splice the original harness, hoping something aftermarket comes out and I’ll replace the wire.
Can you help me out here - for the 4 inch (front), how did you wire these in? Did you put wire into original harness then bass blockers then wire to new speakers?
Did the 4 inch speakers come with instructions on how to wire from cutting the harness to installing bass blockers and reconnecting? I have no experience in this area but I can follow instructions :) just looking for any additional info!
How about opening the doors when your side view mirrors are folded in- why didn’t they put some kind of mechanism in place to push the mirrors out (bc if you forget you’ll hit your front door windows against the mirrors).
I mentioned this as well…I read that maybe it happens when it’s cold out but It seemed to happen even when it was a 55 degree day in NY recently so not sure that makes sense either?
Anyone know how to stop the rear defroster from automatically turning on after you press the car start button (when originally started with remote start)? No matter what settings I change this keeps happening.
Anyone notice this piece under the roll bar being loose and not fully secure with the other connecting pieces? I think this is where I have some squeaking coming from. There is also a plastic screw that says “Accessories Here” and it’s barely intact.
