I would be interested in your mat but I can't make it Saturday. Maybe hit me on the DM with a price.

For those interested in learning to wheel (like me) Esprit de Four has opened their registration for the Fall safety clinic. See link here: Esprit de Four Let's get some Bronco's out there!
  4. Deepsleep mattress for 2 door Bronco (Proof of Concept)

Thanks! Is there anything unique about the deepsleep pad? Wouldn't any mattress work (I have a nice Exped). Great thinking with the foam underneath-this is a nice alternative to a tent on the solo trips!

I will also be in South Lake next week looking for some beginner trails. Would like to take the fam so nothing too bumpy but getting offroad and some views would be sweet. Seems like the trail behind the golf course into North Start is beginner friendly. Open to any suggestions. Cheers!
  6. Heavy Rooftop Tent on 2-Door w/ ZROADZ Rack Worked Great!

Thanks. Couple Q's: Did you opt for ZRoadZ rack over factory because of something like strength/durability? Big price point difference there but perhaps because you need it for RTT. What hitch cargo carrier did you go with and any recommendations on steel vs. aluminum? Thanks!

@omg_bbq I don't think any level of tint on the front/passenger doors is legal in CA. The shop warned me that a ticket was a possibility. I see so many vehicles, especially pick-ups, with tinted fronts that I think its not enforced much. I just got unlucky on a busy Sunday returning from Tahoe...

I am not sure what tint level you got but I went with 20 on the fronts and got busted by the CHP a few days after. I'll probably pay the fine but not sure I would do it again-constant worry every time I see the black and white!
  9. Oceano Dunes, California

For those of us who haven't been or driven on sand yet, what is the best approach to trip planning? Any good websites that lay out all the details? I am wondering if it is worth getting a guide or being with some kind of group for newbies and their rigs? Seems like a lot of folks just show up...
  10. 1Up rack works best!

Yep, anti rattle hitch pin was what I did the next day.

@Love Shop Auto Lo You talkin' about a meet up in the Bay Area or that trail specifically? Would love either although I don't have the skills for the trail.

  17. 1Up rack works best!

Finally received my 1up rack, hitch extender (Topsy 7") and hitch (Curt 2"). This is the perfect set up for me as some of my riding buddies have the extenders I can throw on if riding together. Only issue so far is the extender has more play than I would like once the rack is attached. Might...

  19. Curt 13493 Fits 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Class 3 Trailer Hitch w/ 2" Receiver in stock at TMB!

Which hitch extender do you recommend? I purchased a 2" Topsy brand extender and there is too much play when I have a bike rack on. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
