i get the same feeling running disconnected all the time. it'd be nice if you could take it to the same place and run without them and let us know the difference in feeling, if any.
oh this is the way cars get fixed now. dealers throw parts at it until it maybe gets fixed. ask me how i know, i still have a parasitic draw after almost 2 mos in the shop. i just live with it cuz no one knows how to work or fix cars nowadays. get a good jump pack and carry a shade tent...
I ran both amps down the driver side cuz the battery is there along with a firewall grommet and it’s a shoerter run that way for 2ga wire. While your under the hood might look at adding a distribution block. Mounted my lc7i in the glove box and ran rcas down the passenger.
Those reinforcements are a scam. So you move the twisting of the tailgate to the hinges and mounting point to the vehicle. The hinges are still carting the weight. To the guy that says I go slow and just rock crawl, you don’t think all that slow twisting of the frame is protected by stamped...
out of curiosity, do you think the heim will allow enough flex as not to tweek the tailgate in an extreme case of flex in the real world?
love the build, truly awesome. love kings for desert ripping.
getting ready to pull panels to install/re-route/replace stereo components. adding a 500w punch amp for sub only (10" solo baric) and adding a rear stage with 6.5" hertz mille pro in pods and sound deadening.
installed and rerouting: 1000w punch amp, 3.0 capacitor, 4" kicker ks and 6.5" hertz...
i absolutely hate tedious shit like that! would it be possible to use a porta power and also, where did the plate mount come from? looking at these for when i build my rear bumper/carrier. oh, one more question. will that plate work with a spare tire delete? looks like it should or i could...
are the end links in the disconnects right AND left hand thread? curious cuz @acfab only used RH threaded heims. cool, thx for that so now you have to constantly put them on and off to get it set up and fine tuned. it also sucks when the mounts get tweaked and then have to fight them off. my...
flip the headrest and save $60 by going to a fastener store. there are wedges used for bolting though i-beam flanges to keep the bolt vertical, if the headrest don't work. i make good money but can't justify $80 for a couple of blots and wedges.
