But the Bronco Sport is much shorter then this-this looks like its in between the Escape and the old Edge.
There has been rumors that the Escape might morph into a different product...maybe this is it.
Not to mention the vast majority of buyers of a highend Pickup would rather buy a 100K+ Platinum F-series then a Lincoln. The average luxury car buyer doesn't want a pickup.
Oh and FYI cars and trucks are just expensive...a top end Navigator is over a 100K. Other Lincoln products start at $38K for what is a rebadged Escape and the other two start at 50K and I'd assume that the average price for Lincoln transactions are well over 50K
The Ford Everest would like to talk to you-It is a Ranger based SUV sold ROW
Given that the plant is super busy building Rangers or Broncos, I seriously doubt they'll add a third product
counterpoint-I did $15k worth of damage to my 2006 Mustang almost 20 years ago.
Part of the front subframe was cut and replaced.
I sold it back in 2017 and never had any problems related to that accident with it.
I’ve owned nothing but Fords for almost 30 years now and the interior plastics argument is just played out. I’ve even had someone tell me that plastics used in EU Fords where better, but a trip to the UK and riding in Ford products from there of the same era where almost identical to what we had...
CAFE says no way.
I also think that Ford is limiting the 2.7L because of CAFE also, thus why it’s been dropped in the Big Bend and other trims.
The only thing V8 offers over the turbo V6 is a better exhaust note, otherwise it has nothing else over it.
But the pre-2025 Bronco already had a electronic cluster that was inspired by the FSB dash.
The 2025 Mustang dash has optional IP mode that makes it look like a cluster from a 1980s Fox Mustang with green lighting, which really isn't anything write home about IMO-it looks cool but its nothing...
I doubt that it is that large and it boils down to that Websato has QC issues in making the roofs.
Its sorta like the cam phaser issue-there is a decent amount of issues with them, but apparently it isn't enough to trigger a recall or worth it for Ford to find a new vendor.
I see threads like this and I’m not sure why people have so many issues-are you sure you’re connected using WiFi instead of BT?
In the almost 3 years I’ve had my Bronco, I’ve had maybe half dozen issues with CarPlay and normally holding the power and seem right button to reset the system took...
Why are they going to sell a more capable vehicle for "cheap" when the Bronco Sport has the price advantage in the 30K range.
You get a "convertible" and a far better off roading platform then the Bronco Sport. Convertibles are normally a 5-7K upcharge over their hardtop companions.
The...
