What the f are you talking about?
CAFE is the primary reason why the V6 has been dropped from trims and why a V8 isn’t in the Bronco, outside of it not needing it.
As for the V8 thing-it’s part of the Mustangs DNA as a performance vehicle, no so much the Bronco where it is just a manhood...
your data isn’t any more accurate then mine.
sometimes shit happens and you get unlucky.
But starter failure isn’t more endemic with stop-start then it is without it. It’s being designed to survive stop starts by being beefed up and assuming something is just gonna break because it operates...
It’s a real Bronco too, according to some people here
Meet the Ford Bronco New Energy — an all-electric and EREV-only version (available exclusively in China)
Specs:
• Dual-motor AWD
• BEV: 105.4 kWh battery, 311 hp, 404 mi range
• EREV: 43.7 kWh battery + 1.5L range extender, 758 mi total...
See that is the problem-People get so myopic about things-the Bronco doesn't really need a V8 in it-yeah it would be cool, but at the same time more or less pointless vs what you get already.
Then whole engine size thing-wife went from a 2.0L Ecoboost to the 1.5 in her Bronco Sport. I heard...
Maybe some people are just hung up on a number vs driving a vehicle that has the same or more power out of it.
I've had two V8 and the two Ecoboost V6s I've had since that don't make me miss it at all.
This is about as stupid as people who are hung up on EVs.
But also keep in mind the Army was using Diesel engines and they are similar to how the ecoboost engines work with high pressure fuel rails and other things, not to mention Diesels generally operate dirty-I've had engines push oil out the exhaust because the operators didn't get them up to...
So going back almost 30 years ago-we used oil analysis in the Army and from what I can recall that over 8 years between active duty and National Guard service with a major deployment (Bosnia) I think I saw maybe a half of dozen vehicles that actually needed their oil changed and there was maybe...
I do an oil change every 6 months or so since I don't drive that far-work is roughly 30 miles round trip and I have just under 25K on a car that is almost 3 1/2 years old. I was only driving to work two days a week up until this past March.
But the Mustang has been known to have a V8 offered in it for the past what 60 years? The Bronco is more about its off road prowellness, not the engine in it.
The point I was trying to make is that certain trims like the Big Bend can’t be ordered with a V6 anymore, due to the fact they sell more of them. The Stroppe will be lucky to sell maybe 5k units in a year, where as something like the Outer Banks and Big Bend could make up something like 40-50%...
The CN Bronco EV/EREV is actually bigger then the Bronco
Here are the stats on this new Bronco EV... it is a big boy

Over the last couple of weeks, I’m having issues with my iPhone 16 Pro Max not connecting to my Bronco using CarPlay.
What normally happens is I leave for work in the morning and it won’t connect. I restart my iPhone and then it connects. I leave work and it connects no problem, but the problem...
