I understand why Ford does it. I believe these days a lot of consumers no longer enter dealerships with a specific model in mind. It's degenerated into "What's the nicest grey colored vehicle that I can walk out of here for $xxx/month payments".
Could be variance in batches or luck of the draw. I'm a member of Bronco Nation on FB with 158k members and I see lots of photos weekly of people with issues.
I remember the days of installing turbo timers in my DSM's and MR2's. Technology has certainly improved over the decades when you consider how many mass commuter vehicles today have turbochargers and the average driver doesn't know a thing about them, it's kind of surprising that vehicles today...
That's what you call repainting a panel on the cheap. Sometimes vehicles may suffer minor damage during freight and as you can imagine, most dealerships are looking for the quickest and cheapest paintwork.
Hmm. I have had a few OTA updates perform but that's still not fixed on mine. I'm still waiting on a fix for the 25 2.3L cold start misfire issue that's hopefully going to be released in Q2. CEL came back a last week. While I know it's a software issue so I'm not overly worried about the...
That's pretty common for 80's era turbocharged vehicles where they had to drop to low compression ratio's to handle forced induction with high rotational inertia turbochargers, and if the vehicles had intercoolers they were usually pretty tiny compared to modern vehicles.
I don't know about other 25 owners but when I select max brightness of any color, it will stay that way until the next time I start the car, and the circle defaults back into the middle intensity of the color scale. Also thought it was strange that no matter what color you pick it goes back to...
Oh cool! Another automotive gatekeeping thread this time about the superiority of a V8 and how it somehow adds soul to an inanimate pile of metal, rubber, and plastic. As exciting as another 2 door vs 4 door debate or manual transmission circle jerk.
As long as owners enjoy their Bronco that’s...
I think vehicles like the Bronco should have fun colors so I like this addition even if I probably wouldn't buy it for myself. I'm still waiting for Grabber Blue. The availability of that color would almost be enough to get me to trade up.
The MT88 is basically a massaged version of the MT82 for truck duty with the addition of the crawler gear. Even made right next to each other at the same facility in China. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to design an all new transmission for Bronco quantities which are miniscule next to the...
Kind of unfortunate that Ford is clearly decontenting the Bronco while increasing prices. Replacing leather with plastic on the shift knob is going a little too far as we aren’t talking about an entry level SUV like an escape here. I guess they have to pay for all those replacement MIC tops...
