There is one key difference if you plan to wheel more hardcore or possibly go much beyond 35s. The standard Badlands comes with two different final drive ratios: 4.46 and 4.7 in the automatic and manual transmission configurations. However, the Sasquatch package comes standard with 4.7.
So, if...
Does anyone have any experience with any of the Red Mountain Trails in Fresno? I'm considering a trip out to Strawberry Lake.

I missed out on the Bronco Bash, totally had the timing wrong in my head and wasn't prepared in time. But the Wild Horses Unbridled event was a lot of fun!
I’m also in Clovis and am in search of more family-friendly intermediate to difficult trails. I just attended the Moonlight Madness run but agree there was a bit more late night rowdiness than I would prefer.
I’m also not sure how I feel about 10+ rigs at once - it’s a lot more waiting around.
I’m planning on staying the night. Since you’ve been before, perhaps you could enlighten me. Does everyone just find a spot somewhere at Base Camp there on Rock Creek? I’ve got a more secluded spot closer to the lookout tower but if the events are focused on that side, then I’ll likely just stay...
I guess it depends on what the hard trail is. The "extreme run" says it requires 35s so we'll see but I didn't sign up for it since I'm on the standard Badlands 33s.
I'm planning to arrive sometime around 4pm.
Ok cool. Did you go sasquatch? I was reading somewhere that said swamp lake required 35s but I really want to hit it up as well. I'm on the stock 33s but I also don't mind scraping a bit – it's what the protection is for after all.
Glad you were able to recover your Bronco and I learned a lot on this thread, thank you all.
Now if only we could find a way to avoid all these low tire pressure alerts that we get when airing down 🤦‍♂️
