We tried - the factory unit is too cumbersome. Plus, looks way cleaner with it relocated AND seems to function fine with it behind the grill. Pain in the butt on initial installation but paid off in the long run.
Look forward to seeing it on your rig!
The front end is ripped apart right now (Swapping in RCV Axles) so there's no wheel/tire on. I can take more once it's back together.
As for the Diode Dynamics, the bumper is specifically designed for the Baja Designs lights. The brackets that come with it interface to the mounts integrated...
This is interesting. If it's just the flange that's failing, a doubler plate (with PEM nuts) to replace the factory nut bracket would provide the support needed BUT would put all load on the welds. We'll see what @x250f23x comes up with now that the seed is planted!
No intent, we feel the fabricated offers a more finished look so that's what we designed.
Easy fix as there are crash bar delete kits to replace that body-mount!
The wings are detachable - this was for ease of shipping. If you ran it without the wings, you couldn't run the factory parking sensors.
Test fitting is complete across multiple models and first production run is complete - these will be ready to ship in the next 2-3 weeks as we're only waiting...
These are all sensitive systems, for sure. I know someone that was in sales for a company that sold re calibration equipment to collision shops for these types of safety systems as the manufacturer calls for calibration upon removal and re-installation in the SAME location. I've not seen any...
We engineer products we want to run - we ran a competitors product that blocked our front camera with this same winch. After an exhaustive search, we're in the bumper business, now!
We just completed the pictures for our production unit and wanted to share them here, first!
100% USA MADE: Construction is 3/16" Cold rolled US Steel in the center section, 1/8" on the wings.
Modular design ensures ease of shipping; not designed to run only the center section

Yeah, the concept that a stiffer rear suspension will "push" on a front suspension could be helpful in some situations but i would argue it's only good until the front wheels have crested and the rear can't articulate as needed to optimally clear the obstacle as there's a sway-bar trying to hold...
Yeah, as stated above, the Torsion Sway bar compliments our Shocks - it was not tested with OEM or other coilovers. I am sure it would have the same effect on any remote res 2.5" diameter shock package but, those with smaller shocks and added weight, may get excessive body roll with the design.
We have a steel bumper, lighting, 37" spare, and hammerbuilt spare tire brace - definitely have more than a standard Bronco hanging off the rear.
That said, we have currently only worked with 4-door Broncos; the wheelbase works in our favor here. Additionally, we design and build parts that are...
After ripping ours through 1,000 miles of all terrain Baja had to offer, i don't subscribe to these needing rear sway bars. I doubt we'll do anything of the sort for this reason.
Check every box on THIS link.
We run our spec King shocks (Carli-SPEC reservoir mounting, Carli linear pistons and valving), Upper Control Arms, Steering (tie-rod system), Torsion Sway Bar, Rear Control Arms, Rear Control Arm Guard, Rear Shock Mount Skid, Rear Track Bar, Rock Sliders, and Front...
It's on several vehicles and we've shipped a good amount to end users. As we've now completed a trip through conditions to which very few will subject their Broncos, i thought the feedback to be relevant. I understand and appreciate your perspective - as an enthusiast, i always look to end user...
