  1. Dealership dummies depress me

Sure thing sweet heart, right after you.
  2. Dealership dummies depress me

As white folks, you and I dont have a clue what @Vigor goes through on a regular basis. Shitty service at the dealership or not, after a lifetime of dealing with racism, I'm certain he knows when he's been judged.
  3. MT vs AT tires for daily driving?

MT have a more aggressive tread pattern. They look bigger in every case because the tread depth is much more noticable. They will wear faster too. After about ¼ of their life they will begin to hum at speed. More on road use, stick with the ATs. Buying tires gets expensive after a while.
  4. Pineapple Blues

Its because they make 3 or 4 different m9dels in that one factory. They rotate assembly line set ups. Retool, run a batch of X. Retool, run a batch of Y. Retool, run a batch of Z. Repeat.
  5. Dealership dummies depress me

Are you your own Subject Matter Expert, or SME? Do you know more about your prospective product than the sales associate? Its like going to the auto parts store and telling the kid behind the counter to move over and you will find the thing yourself. Shouldnt dealerships should have employees...
  6. Wish we could choose grilles

    I fucking hope not...
  7. We need this retro inspired grill ASAP

Ford struck pretty damn close with the Base & Big Bend grilles. The goofy honey comb looking Badlands gets all the pictures unfortunately.
  8. Gift from Red McCombs

Overseas military auto sales, I will take delivery where ever I ask them to send it. I'm originally from Ormond, I was trying to remember what dealerships are near Daytona. As to guess which one needed to step up. Thats all.
  9. Gift from Red McCombs

    Is that Yeomans, Mullinax, or...?
  10. Check out the garage stools!

This pandering is so easy it's stupid. Like RUBs at Bike Week and rednecks at Walmart. How to separate a redneck from his money: Step one: Have a product. Step two: Wrap it in Real Tree/Mossy Oak camo. Step three: Profit! For RUBs, replace camo with "Harley Davidson"
  11. Base lays claim to Iconic Script Bronco Badge!!

Everywhere else in the car world its a douche move to "up badge" i.e. like putting GT/Cobra emblems on a V6 base Mustang. I feel like it would be just a bad to put the base trim badge on an upper echelon trim level. Dont get me wrong, I REALLY want the OG script. But the base trim doesnt get...
  12. Anyone want to sell their Badlands wheels and tires?

I would straight up trade you for these...
  13. The color we should have gotten

Ford paint code K7, Atlantic Blue Metallic. The gave up on that probably 20 years ago, so VB is my choice. But if there was a Deep Metallic Root Beer Brown, I would skin a toddler for that.
  14. Bronco Warthog Engine Sound Captured in Sighting

Plot twist: Ford is going to revive the 4.9L straight six. But with DOHC & twin turbos.
  15. Badlands vs Wildtrak

Think of it like this, do you carry a pocket knife in your pocket? Probably. Do you carry a power drill in your pocket? Doubtful. Both are great tools, both make holes. The drill is faster at making holes than the knife, and can penetrate more materials. The knife has more control and practical...
  16. Which axle for future v8 swap?

The crawler gear should be sufficient to get you close enough. You may enjoy the highway capability of the 4.46s. And why use a junk yard gear set thats been abused enough to end up in a junk yard? Get peace of mind with a nice new ring & pinion.
  17. Guys, I think my wife just talked me out of my Badlands build... And into a Wildtrak

Had a similar diacuasion with my wife and now I'm onto 2 different(but similar) builds. But at $8k different, not $100. And it really hit home pointing out that I probably wont be going rock crawling in my brand new $40k+ vehicle. She wants me to be happy and have every option I want, whether...
  18. Here's the spec sheet on the SEMA custom Badlands

Well considering Bestop made the top, not Ford, it might be possible that since it is a SEMA concept, they put some "extra" into their cobtribution. Look at the Dodge/Line-X/Jesse James SEMA entry. That's a nice little Barrett .50bmg on a handy pop up bipod.
  19. Here's the spec sheet on the SEMA custom Badlands

Scabbard. Singular, not plural. I have one that has two 8-10" pockets that cradle both ends of a short/modular modern sporting carbine.
