  1. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

Don’t get me wrong I like the soft top and I’ve taken it down multiple times. The noise is pretty severe is all I’m saying. Now maybe there’s an issue with my soft top. That’s a whole different issue.
  2. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

I made it quick edit to my original post since the soft top has garnered some discussion. EDIT - Since this has received a lot of discussion let me clarify a few things. One, I have not driven a hard top so I don't know if it's for sure quieter, but it could be. I was making an assumption...
  3. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

I started Schnebly Hill from the Sedona side going to I17. It worked for us since we did the "hard" part first and the dirt road after. Honestly, I liked doing it this way better. I aired down my tires to 28 and it was fine. I probably could have gone lower. Its an extremely rock/bumpy road so...
  4. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

I appreciate the feedback, and you're correct I should not make assumptions that the hard top is not quieter. I was inferring from the various reports and videos I've seen on them, but I have not personally driven one. As it stands right now, I would not recommend the soft top at all. It's not...
  5. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

It wasn’t as much of an issue with almost no wind under let’s say 10 mph. Once it starts kicking up you def hear it. It’s pretty bad especially when you have strong cross winds for multiple hours on a trip.
  6. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

They are just a couple of lanterns I bought on Amazon for the camping portion of our trip. I was able to hang them on the soft top hook. Vont 2 Pack LED Camping Lantern,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018L2WM86?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
  7. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

Thanks for sharing! I love the soft top and being able to easily take it down the warmer months. I’m honestly thinking the trade off is too much for ease of use. In long car rides the road noise does become a bit unbearable. I definitely wouldn’t purchase the soft top again now knowing how loud...
  8. Mabett Front Winch Bumpers

I like this a lot and I would totally buy it with the bullbar attached.
  9. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

I have no idea but I def noticed a difference when I was at 8k to 12k elevation. It was by far the best mpg I ever got. That’s also a mix between up and down hill. I did read online after the fact higher elevation may increase mpg. Looks like it did for me…..
  10. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

Nothing, I was barely speeding up and in no way could I ever beat 15 mpg on the highway. I barely put any throttle on it to try to get the best mpg as possible. Also, in Texas the speed limit is either 75 or 80 on the highways.
  11. My 2900 Mile Bronco Journey

First, I want to say how great the Bronco was to have during this long journey through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and our final destination Colorado. It was my Wife, small 10 pound Dachshund, and I on this trip. I’ll lay out some pro’s and cons that I have experienced which I hope @Ford Motor...
  12. Jeep Magneto 2.0 - TFL Review

It will eventually make it to production. Considering EV is the future.
  13. Jeep Magneto 2.0 - TFL Review

Ford better keep up and release the EV Bronco in the next couple of years if not they are going to start losing sales to Jeep. I already saw 2 Jeep 4xe on the road this weekend. Before I picked up my Bronco I inquired about it and the dealers cant keep them in stock. I just think that specific...
  14. Air Down Advice - Schnebly Hill/Black Gap Trails

Looks like y’all had a fantastic time. I can’t wait for my trip this Friday. We are going to schnebly hill on Saturday. It took y’all 3 hours to do the whole trail? I thought it was closer to 2. I’m going to have to test out before hand the boulder deflator kit I bought with the compressor...
  15. Air Down Advice - Schnebly Hill/Black Gap Trails

Any advice other than that one. I tried to purchase on NAPA site but all sold out. I’m thinking of purchasing ALL-TOP Air Compressor Kit, 12V Portable Inflator 6.35CFM, on Amazon. Going for about 159. Not sure how it will holdup though. The reviews online looked promising...
  16. Closeups of Eruption Green Bronco Raptor [updated w/ interior, suspension, engine underhood pics])

Lol paying the amount of money they are asking for this thing no thanks. Not worth it imo....I can find alot better trucks to spend my money on for that kind of change.
  17. Air Down Advice - Schnebly Hill/Black Gap Trails

Thanks for the post! I’m totally looking forward to it. The air down kit you bought is the exact same one I got. I get it tomorrow so I’ll test it out of course first. I haven’t decided just yet on a air compressor. I’m with you though I didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount starting off on a...
  18. Air Down Advice - Schnebly Hill/Black Gap Trails

I know there are spots on the trail to camp but I believe you need a permit. This trail worked perfect for us since we are coming from Houston Mesa Campground heading to Mather Campground for the Grand Canyon.

I really disagree after driving my Bronco since December honestly I don’t think I’ve looked at the analog Speedo more than twice. It would have been much better if the digital took the entire space. Analog is such a waste in its current form.
  20. Air Down Advice - Schnebly Hill/Black Gap Trails

Thanks for the tip! We are also taking a Curt cargo carrier on the hitch. But should be ok for this really light trail.
