I'm considering the JL ACP208LG-W3V3 , twin 8" in a powered enclosure that's a narrow 5 1/8", 35" wide, 15" tall. Called JL and they stated you could stand it up or use as a down firing sub.
How do you like the Infinity Ref. speakers? Listening to just about every speaker on the crutchfield website I liked the Infinity the best. Still waiting for the day to install them in a Bronco.
Just remember....they're not doing you a favor, your entitled to the PP. It's not coming out of their pockets (they would like it to go in their pockets) but through FoMoCo.
$5080 is worth rolling the dice. Been looking at dealer stock but hard to walk away from that kind of savings. Probably wait until mid summer. If I don't get scheduled I'll look for dealer stock. I figure I'll lose the PP but avoid another increase in MY24.
Kind of expensive but I'm considering the JL dual 8" powered subwoofer box. Only a little over 5" thick, 35" wide. Gets great reviews.
I contacted JL today and they stated that I could use it as a down firing sub enclosure. Might make a box to cover the rear area where I can drop the sub in...
Hope this is my last post regarding Ford's Private Offer, or Price Protection as it use to be called. I've had several different responses on whether it would be honored or not on dealer stock. Has anyone on the forum, who has not been scheduled, bought a Bronco from a different dealer (dealer...
Are the head units the same in the standard and B&O system? Are all the speakers in the B&O system driven by the amplifier or just the sub? Any just driven through the head unit? Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find any answers. Last audio update I did was a reverb in my 65 Falcon.
I believe the 23's were to come with a 7 speaker system which included a subwoofer. Due to constraints the sub was deleted, still a 6 speaker system. if you were to look inside you'll find a speaker missing the magnet and an empty circuit board. Although you may be one of the lucky early...
I guess I just needed to "know when to hold them, know when to fold them"! I'm only 500+ days in so not surprised not being scheduled. I swore that I wouldn't budge but I did, dropping Lux, Mod, and Tow in hopes of getting scheduled during Ford's scary e-mails. Seeing these constraints being...
Dealer called this morning, I told him about the e-mail I received. They had heard nothing, his exact words were "Ford sent you an e-mail?" So I'm assuming that this went out to all the reservation holders and not the dealerships.
What grinds me is that if "we don't get our builds" this MY, we start all over? Lose out private offers? Go back into the abyss? It's ground hog's day all over again!
Please enlighten me. I placed my Wildtrac order back in 21'. I ordered a loaded vehicle as it will be my last new Ford. With the recent news I dropped the Lux, Towing, Modular bumper from the build. Is this recent post telling me I have no chance of being scheduled? My dealer is clueless...
I've been checking dealer stock in the greater Detroit area. They are getting quite a few different builds right now! I check every couple days and there is new stock. Several of the dealerships offering at MSRP w/A/Z plans. I ordered back in 21' (Wildtrac) so if I can find one with what I...
Congratulations on the NEWS! I'm in the same boat, even removed more constraints, took off Lux, Modular Bumper, and tow. Figured I can always add the bumper and tow and just upgrade the sound system. Had to be a 2Dr. Wildtrac. I'm still checking dealer stock nationwide for a comparable...
