1. Why wouldn't price protection apply this order?
2. Ford is not in the business of alienating customers, your salesman that you know personally screwed up. Has nothing to do with Ford. Ford gave all the dealerships plenty of time and warnings to make sure COVP was done correctly.
I would...
deposit is dealer specific. Order banks are supposed to open 3/27. There is a live broadcast next Monday 3/20 about order banks. I am not sure if they are opening a week early or not. The live broadcast is at 2pm EST.
PP is for your retail order. Stock units will not have price protection. However, if your Bronco is already invoiced then it will not reflect the price increase. Retail price protection is tied to your name, your bronco.
the PO that is a rebate will cover the increased price from 22my to 23my. The PL(price level) increases will be covered by the dealership. The original PL for 23my is PL315. You will be PP back to that MSRP +/- any adds or deletes you made, as long as the Body Code did not change.
Price protection will go back to PL 315. Which is where 23MY pricing started. So yes price protected back to your original DORA. assuming you havent changed your Body Code since then.
Please see highlighted area. This Price protection is NOT in the form of a rebate. It will NOT be added to your Model Year Transition offer that should be in SmartVincent. This price protection will be given (should be) by dealership. Some will discount upfront (should be done this way)...
I do not know exactly the time frame. I havent paid that close attention, I'm sorry. I just know that when I click on an order, the system will tell me if it is unable to be amended. If you have a build week of 4/17 I see no reason you should not be able to drop leather.
I don't believe he even tried. I just added tow and changed color for a customer this morning. Thursdays no changes can be made b/c of scheduling and the system gets overwhelmed. But any other day will be fine. Also depends on how close you are to your build date.
