A few states will actually ticket you if your tires stick out beyond your fenders. They have to do this. But it doesn't stop you from changing them.

I would like to see them also since I plan on getting a Badlands at this point but these were test mules. You can't expect them to be kitted out like the trim level is expected to be. We'll just have to wait longer.

This has actually been mentioned in this thread and several others. Seeing as these are non-production vehicles, I'm not sure what you're looking to see.
