Everything you mentioned was present on my "2.0" version top, so not sure it really matters. But there should be a sticker on the back clamshell that shows its production date.

Don’t waste your time. The new top will just do the same thing. Wait until later in your warranty to get the replacement. The official Ford communication to dealers says these cracks are covered, but there are definitely dealers who don’t know or care.
Completely normal. There are several things that make the clicking noises your hearing. In addition to those mentioned already, there is also the battery saver timeouts which those relays make noise too.
Yes absolutely. Every version gets better, especially car play connection speed and stability in last couple updates. It is highly advisable to ignore the tin foil hat crowd around here.
Of course it’s an improvement. The windows no longer catch on the seals and wobble when you open a door. They will go back up after you open and close a door. If not something is wrong.
Unlocking with the FOB does not lower the window unless the Bronco was built after July 23. Unlocking with the handle does too for the new ones. Supposedly working on an update for the rest of us.
