Wow, after watching that I’m definitely sold on the Power Tank! That was over 12 minutes faster. Definitely gonna go that route and am also gonna go with either that QuikFlate system, SpeedFlate or similar.
Casey250 on YouTube put out a video on the SpeedFlate system and he used an ARB Twin...
I’m going with a Warn Zeon 10S but not the Ford one. Gonna get a complete replacement front bumper. It’s expensive but with this kind of stuff I’d rather pay more for peace of mind. Also want a manual winch clutch and a wired remote...less things to go wrong/potentially leave me stranded down...
Saw this the other day and figured it would help people new to locker use/4WD on when it might benefit you to use a rear locker only, front locker only or both.
Yep! It’s been a few years since I’ve wheeled there but I got my 06’ Dodge Power Wagon on 37s (6 speed manual) through Daniel with only one minor door ding. I figure the Bronco will be a whole lot narrower on the trails
On the fence about pulling a 180 and going minimalist standard package on my 4dr 2.7 Badlands order...currently have the Lux package selected. Few things are pushing me to reconsider. Namely the front collision/ACC sensor in the lower bumper and the grill mounted camera. So far the 4WP winch...
What’s worked well for me in the past on various 4x4 vehicles:
Rock Crawling/Hard Trails -
10-12psi without beadlocks, 6-8psi with beadlocks (or lower depending on tires/conditions/vehicle).
Beach/Sand Trails -
15-20psi depending on how soft the sand is. 20psi works pretty well for me here...
Wonder how much of a PITA it will be to relocate the ACC box to install a hidden winch bumper...maybe Lux package isn’t worth it if I have to deal with that headache
Anyone know if the adaptive cruise feature on the Lux package can be turned off so I can just use standard cruise control? Do other Ford’s give you the option of adaptive vs standard cruise control? My 14’ F250 has standard cruise and it’s just fine for me. I’m going to Lux mainly for the stereo...
MIC color choice got you feeling down? MOD top unavailability got you considering cancelling your order? You can still get a black soft top ;)
On a real note, spent several hours looking at pictures, reading Jeep JL soft top owners reviews and decided to pull a 180 and go soft top only on my...
Well, guess I’ll head to the dealer tomorrow to change my dual top Badlands to a MIC top order...with the headliner. Gonna make Ford eat that $500 :ROFLMAO: I’ll just order a soft top in 2022 or buy one off this forum eventually. I’d take a soft top initially but then I’d miss out on the hard...
Title pretty much sums it up. Is the Bronco going to be your primary daily driver? Or will it be a second vehicle/weekend/adventure vehicle? If it’s going to be your primary vehicle what is it replacing?
My ordered 4 door is going to replace my F250 6.7. Don’t tow heavy anymore and if I need...
I’ll be honest, I really wanted a JL Wrangler. For my intended uses, a Wrangler will most likely be better. I plan to wheel this thing pretty hard and I have no doubt a solid axle would fit my personal needs better.
However, the giant elephant in the room is FCA’s JL quality issues. I’ve been...
Nope. My dealer said he was still unable to add it. Texted him the link to this thread. He told me we still have a few weeks to finalize orders and everything...
When you lift the front you lose downtravel...good thing to keep in mind. I personally won’t consider over a 1-2” lift so I can retain most of my factory down travel. If I want more lift than that I’ll probably have to wait for a mid travel or long travel system...which will increase track width.
