Yeah, Iād do it. Also plan to do the same with my Bronco whenever it arrives. Have a 20ā Scout on a tandem axle trailer. Estimated load is 4-4,500lbs. Not worried about it

Iām active on there as well (mainly because Iāve got a JL Rubicon Ecodiesel ordered as well as a 22ā Bronco). Good forum and tons of helpful knowledge
Itās relatively easy to extend the diff breathers/transmission/transfer case breathers on your own. Air intake is from the fender well Iām pretty sure. Iām sure someone will make a snorkel eventually. It would be prudent to apply dielectric grease to electrical connectors under the vehicle...
Really hope Ford puts the disconnecting swaybar on this one too...I know itās a ādesert runnerā but the disco swaybar would be awesome. And the Badlands skid plates/rock rails. Do Hellās Revenge in the morning and bomb the whoops in the afternoon
One reason I personally 99ād my order as well is I donāt want a model year 21ā vehicle at the end of 2021...I want a MY22. Iām also doing a major 180 on my build decision so thereās that too. It would have shoved me to 22ā anyways. Going from 4 door to 2 door, Lux to Mid and 2.7/10 speed to...
What Ford *should* have done is put the radar sensor in the windshield ala Jeep. Their adaptive cruise sensor is below the rearview mirror. Lower front bumper is a terrible place for it. This same sensor is on every single Bronco (part of the auto emergency braking BS). The camera relocation kit...
Oh I have. Iām on the JL Forums too. Already have a laundry list of stuff Iām gonna preemptively fix on the Jeep in the first month. Hinge corrosion prevention, seal the locker sensors, make the Rubicon hood vents functional, etc. Iām betting that the Bronco is gonna have similar locker issues...
Had a 4dr Badlands 2.7 Sasquatch on order...but you all know how the delays are currently. Ordered a diesel Jeep Rubicon and shoved the Bronco order to 22. Got to thinking that I really donāt need two 4 door offroad SUVs in the driveway, but I still want a Bronco. Did some more reading and...
So 37x12.50s should work on factory SAS wheels with a 3ā lift and new UCAās? They have a +30 offset. Mentally planning out the build now š
Also, X2 on the front swaybar quick disconnects. Definitely bring those to market for the non Badlands crowd.
Any plans for bolt on frame mounted rock sliders? I personally prefer those to rocker mounted ones. Also is the rear bumper going to be offered with both parking sensors and non-parking sensor versions? Leaning towards a base Badlands and donāt want extra sensor holes since I wonāt have any...
Very similar to the JKS JL offerings. If someone made one with the disconnect on the bottom underneath the a-arm then you could disconnect and lift up on the swaybar once disconnected to pull the link out of the arm and velcro the swaybar link to the bar.
Or you could use the top nut as the...
Pleased to see the CV angles arenāt bad at all with the 3ā lift. Should still get some decent downtravel out of this setup. Someone needs to take a page from the Jeep world and come up with quick disconnects for the front swaybar links ala the JKS ones available for the Wrangler. Looking forward...
This is the way. Iām sure AEV will have a pre-filter to go with the eventual Bronco snorkel. Cheap and easy way to add extra insurance is add a pre-filter over the stock air filter. Always keep a spare filter onboard if in extremely dusty conditions.
Thatās a lot of stress on the pinion teeth...impressive. Note: Donāt back up hard obstacles in your personal Bronco and donāt snatch people backwards with your front tow hooks. Always recover vehicles in drive if you have to. Less stress on the ring & pinion teeth
I booted myself to a 22ā cause it was unlikely I was seeing mine this year even with a soft top...SAS, Lux and tow constraints š Might go through with it next year but if Iām really digging the Jeep then Iām not going to.
Ordered a JL Rubicon with the Ecodiesel Thursday. Got my VIN today. Say...
