Thanks. Ford didn’t notify me of my original build date delay until a few days before the original build week. I suspect the Ranger retooling was the cause.
I think the constrained parts on WT are starting to free up. My May build date was delayed to June, but I suspect the delay was caused by production line changes for the new Ranger, not parts shortages.
Richmond Ford is one of the higher volume dealerships in the area. I went with Parrish, which is a smaller dealership in a rural suburb. They have one OBX on the lot. Bronco had a lot of pent up demand, which has largely been satisfied. Many Mar 27 new orders received build dates within a...
B&O is just a licensed name. Harmon designs and builds the system. Many, many "premium" car stereos are Harmon, regardless of the name advertised.
While Harmon has several quality aftermarket brands, these speakers don't get installed in the OEM packages.
The Bronco sounds worse than other...

My build week is in the middle of June. Even though I have no plans to go above the stock 35" tires, I plan to order the Hammer Built tailgate reinforcement kit. Peace of mind and it looks great! They also have some nice accessory mounts.

The Rockford Fosgate speakers have caps built into the woofer assembly for the signal going to the tweeter. Since the tweeter on these is designed for higher frequencies...
From the Crutchfield website:
Crossovers: A 6 dB/octave high-pass crossover is integrated into the case of each tweeter. The woofers have two spades on each terminal; the wire from the tweeter, as well as the wire from the source are connected there.
My understanding is that the base factory...
I get the "Leave no trace" concept, but some people take it beyond the point of reason.
I worked with a young woman at one point who gave me grieve for building camp fires while rough camping in the George Washington National Forest. I had to explain to her that responsible campers improve the...
