Also, the Wildtrak's Hoss 3.0 has other stuff besides the suspension and steering components like front/rear bumper upgrades and front bash plates. My net increase (MY 2022 prices) was about $2000 because I had already specced in the modular bumper and full bash plates.
I feel for you. CO was really the color that defined the product launch. I have read (on B6G) that MAP has a limited number of spray booths/room, which limits their pallet offering per model year. I moved my order from A51 to HPR to get some of that tri-coat pizazz.
We're talking about a vehicle launched in a very unusual time. Ford has a good track record of fixing issues over time. For folks lucky enough to get in on the first model year, an extended warranty may be a wise investment.
I like the tan top. It would be cool to have similar interior colors (leather seats). Something between the WT (too light) and OBX Roast (too dark) leather seats. I want my porridge (leather) "just right". :)
Sounds Good did a 3 part video on a high end build they did for Focal. This is part 2. They custom fabbed a 2-way tweeter/ midrange in the left/right dash locations.
What some people do is a shallow mount down firing box that is around the same height as the folded down seats. Kicker makes some nice loaded subs in this configuration.
Yea. I just found out that all Sasquatch models in 2022 got the rear stabilizer bar. Which is good. Towing capacity has a number of factors---I wonder whether the transmission is holding it back?
The HOSS suspension applies to all Broncos. Non-'Squatch/ no Badlands models (HOSS 1.0) have single cylinder shocks. The Badlands and Sasquatch models (HOSS 2.0) have upgraded Bilstein shocks with a second cylinder and an escape valve. In your daily drive situations (let's say you hit a small...
The reality is that Ford isn't hitting production targets. Likely this is due to supplier issues. Some parts come from China in areas where the government has locked down large areas. Most of us still waiting are going to get pushed to 2023. We all wish that Ford would get its act together and...
All 'leather' car seats are a combination of vinyl and leather. They put leather on the seat cushion and back where your body contacts the seat.
If the factory options are not to your liking, a Katzkin installer can re-upolster your seats and add heating and ventilation if you choose. I think...
I ordered the HOSS 3.0 as well on my Wildtrak. Not that I plan to do much towing, but the added rear stabilizer bar may help. Motor Trend has a pretty good article on what goes into tow capacity: https://www.motortrend.com/news/163-0910-truck-towing-capacity/
