Incredibly simple using Bronco upfitter switches!
You literally cut off half of the wiring harness, and you donāt use the relay. Simply tie the 2 red positives together to the preferred aux switch wire by firewall; and attached ground to the point right next to it. So fast and easy! No fighting...
Yes the dealer also put a sticker on my back window as advert for dealership and after removing itās permanent. Iāve tried heat etc it doesnāt return to normal. They ordered me a new window, but right now I just put a bunch of stickers on the back of it to cover it up and Iāll use the ordered...
Mannnn Iām torn I need an opinion:
Should I swap out the white side stripes to a dark brown, and also have grill done dark brown like this vintage bronco? Not that color side stripe thatās on the old one but the same color as grille though.
To remove you have to drill out the melted plastic. Donāt think you could plasti weld them back into place after that, may could. But Iāve seen people just epoxy back. I didnāt want to remove my letters in case I wanna go back to other grille so I ordered a whole new set of letters and the clips...
Oh nice I do love some HF trips lol. Now if I did that, do you just push down on the āstake until
It melts enough to hold it in place? Iāve never done it before.
I have a soldering iron but Iād wanna buy one cheap so I donāt ruin my good one. For the price Iāll try the nuts see if they work, worth a shot especially if they stay. I see other vehicles use them so Iām sure it would be fine as long as the stake is large enough
Iāll call my dealer today maybe Iāll get lucky and theyāll have some on the shelf. I think Iāll need 12 if itās 2 per letter and if theyāre $2 a piece $24 is worth being able to remove them to swap grilles or wrap letters or whatever! Guess Iāll be Guinea pig and report back!
Oh thatās awesome. Iām at work so I canāt tell what size the āstakesā are on the back of the letters. This would be an awesome find if it works cause I know people are just gluing them on etc.
Does anyone know how to properly attach the grille letters to the grille itself? I got a new grille and letters, but from the factory it looks like theyāre supposed to be melted in placeā¦which is annoying considering they ship them separately. I wanna do it right instead of epoxy or whatnot...
I was wanting to keep the retro look, and the black steelies look amazing imo. Iām running 2.5ā lift installed at Ford dealer, along with 35 x 12.5 tires, and wheel spacers. Swapped the BD flares for Sasquatch flares, installed spare tire relocation kit, brake light extension. IAG removable bolt...
Havenāt swapped it yet, was debating not but then I hit a falling tree and it kinda marked it up but I think I could get the marks out. Already almost gone. Also I broke the clips on it trying to remove it š. Weāll see! Maybe Iāll get it done in white wrap guy down the road said heās done a few...
Took a pic of a similar design off Instagram and sent it to the guy who wraps cars down the road. He just printed it out on his plotter! I didnāt know but they can usually draw and print out anything you want so no need to buy stripes online. Stripes on side, PPF lower door and rocker, and matte...
I live in SW Louisiana and the humidity is incredibly ridiculous this morning.
Being the kids first day of school they wanted the back windows down so I rolled them down and had the air conditioner on low. It was perfect comedic timing with the song that started playing on SiriusXMā¦.
I guess...
